exhausted!

I turned around to see who was snoring - clearly, she was EXHAUSTED!

What cracks me up so bad is the FLING of her arm backwards…. even while sleeping she’s DRAMATIC! *L*

How to break a mother’s heart…

OK, so this growing up thing. I don’t like it so much! I’m not OLD enough to have to deal with babies being almost as tall as me, and talking bout girls and stuff like that. I’m just not! And he doesn’t make it any easier, The Boy, he doesn’t.

In fact, yesterday? He brought home his form to choose his electives for HIGH SCHOOL! THIS IS NOT FUNNY! I am so NOT amused! I’m not OLD ENOUGH to have a High Schooler! I am not old enough for a Jr. Higher, let alone the two I’ve had this year. THIS IS NOT FAIR! and I whimper and pout and shudder at the continued thought of his going to HIGH SCHOOL! GAH!

And then! As if that were not enough, he ASKED me to take him to the JOB FAIR so that he could look for a summer job. WHAT?!? This is the child I have to practically BEAT into picking up his clothing. (Oh that should get me some Trollz, hm? *L* have you SEEN the size of The Boy? YOU try’n'beat him. *L* I ain’t stupid. (and I wouldn’t anyway, sheesh.) This is the child who thinks that lazing about on my new couches is hard work! This… well, you get the idea. And he wants a JOB! and what’s worse? He’s OLD enough for some of the most basic of the official jobs. And it was all HIS IDEA… and… and…

He’s just a BABY!

Dammit.

BabyKevin

I hate that we are so far apart that you cannot be spoiled in proper Auntie fashion. Know that I think of you always, and know you will make your Uncle proud of his little namesake.

Cindy:
Never thought I’d see him settle down though I’d watched him try time and time again. May your roots and your strength, and your determination give cory the family he’s always needed. You’re good for him.
