Immediately after elimination, Tracey is all big eyed and teary because she discovers the black team wanted her to be eliminated. They’re not the only ones, Tracy.

But there’s no time to dwell, as they kick off this week with a challenge. The players have to dig through piles of sand and find four keys that will unlock a box. The box contains a prize – though Ali doesn’t clue them in on what it is. The blue team works together and end up finding all four keys – where they find tickets home for a week. They get the choice of keeping it – going home and losing their trainers for the week – or giving it up. They give it up, and the Black Team is sent home for a week instead.

Catching up with some quick recaps! Hold on to your hats – here we go on a whirlwind of Biggest Loser!

Last week, they started off with a temptation challenge right of the bat – and it’s the table of spinning calories. Ali tells them that the teams are going to now be blue vs. black, and on the wheel of choices a winning spin means they choose the teams, and a losing spin could mean eating up to 1000 calories. Ouch. But they don’t have to spin – they can choose to sit out and not take the risk. Abby sits out and everyone else takes their chances.

We jump right to it this week – with Daniel and Shay confronting Tracy, while Coach Mo looks on, about how Tracy had broken her trust. Shay says that she’s been hurt her whole life, and feels betrayed. She tells us Tracy lied her way into a hole, and she’s not gonna help her find her way out of it. Tracy is pulling her wide-eyed ‘innocent’ look that makes me want to punch her in the throat. She keeps saying she assumed Shay would pull a number, and tells us she didn’t do anything. If you want something, fight for it. Shay tells us she’ll never trust them again.
The next morning, Bob and Jillian tell them they have to fight for themselves. It’s not “shay needs to be here” everyone needs too – it’s not for anyone to decide who deserves to be there more than anyone else. Tracy hasn’t been able to be in the gym yet, and they coaches say time to move on from last night and get to work. Shay says she has to prove that Sean and Antoine didn’t make their sacrifice for nothing. They’re all worried about this week. Amanda worries that she’s going to disappoint America, and it keeps her motivated. Jillian rides Julio hard, trying to find out why he’s there, why he’s 407 pounds, and he insists he’s happy with his life, while she says no, he can’t be. She’s not talking about his family, but about HIM, has he been excellent in anything? He says he’s been excellent at food. He admits his drug of choice is food, and he has to change it. Jillian says that she brings up the issues so that they can work it through, and be prepared when the real world comes to smack them in the face.

Our losers don’t get much time to celebrate their victory, because they have their first challenge straight off the bat, before they work out. This week’s theme is “Choices”. Whoever steps across the board, gets a 2 pound advantage – but loses their trainers. It’s bound to go up, of course, to make the decision harder, but someone doesn’t wait that long. The pink team debates – because they are the smallest girls there and 2 pouns could be make it or break it. Brown team thinks if the ante ups to 4, they might take it, then out of nowhere, she doesn’t even talk to her partner before Tracey steps over the line.
Everyone is shocked. Sean even calls her a crazy woman. She defends her decision by saying that she didn’t want anyone else to take 4 or 6 or 8 and her not get it. Mo? Not happy. She took his trainers from him too.

Holy cow, lookit me being a bad blogger! I didn’t realize until watching the show last night, that I’d forgotten my recap for last week! Boy, I suck! So let’s catch up shall we? We’ll now rewind, step back in time, and see what happened last week.
As we returned post elimination, the talk was all about the week two curse, and Ali gave them a reason to beat it: if they all, collectively, worked together as a team and lost a total of 150 pounds, no one would go home. They all accepted the challenge, and even accepted Coach Mo’s advice about how to work together as a team, and even let him into their head a bit to help keep them motivated. They were gonna break the “week two curse” no matter what.
Of course, Shay was all kinds of snarky about Julio, since he often chose to work out on his own, which made her doubt he’s been doing anything at all. According to her, he should have dropped bigger numbers, and he needs to be grateful they kept him there, and pull his weight. (Get it? HAHAH! I kill me!) Of course, what Shay never mentions is that she? Lost the same amount of weight as he did. Shouldn’t she be concerned for her own numbers?
