It gets closer and closer and….
So. In a little over a month, the Pup will be 5 years old. You know what that means right? i gotta find her birthcertificate. heh.
I will be ordering a new one, I have a feeling. *L* I’m so bad about stuff like that.
However… this past week, the pup has had all of her shots, without any reaction too! She didn’t even get a fever! just a little muscle soreness. She had her physical with Dr. C, and was prclaimed a square. (She is 44 inches tall, she weighs 44 pounds, and even her bp was 104/44! When teased, she said “I am not a square! I just LIKE the number FOUR because I AM Four!” Can’t argue with that…)
And tonight it was off to the school for her orientation. She got to play in a class room with other kids, while mom’s were given the runthrough. I’ve not been in the school for a couple years, so hadn’t seen the new office setup – it’s finally by the front door where it belongs. Have to get used to the new setup for the Kindergarten hours as well. I had thought to have her in the later class, but then I’d never hear the end of it. She’s waited for 3 years to have breakfast in the mornings before school with Gramma and Papa….. so the early class it will be. *chuckles* Then I’ll be picking her up from school at 1:30pm every day. There’s also only one kinder teacher that is still there from when the older two attended – and even the favorite Mr. W, the PE teacher, is retiring this year! He’s signed on as a substitute, however, so he’ll still be hanging around school. His jaw dropped when he saw The Boy tonight, because the boy is bigger then Mr. W now. *chuckles*
So we signed up for the Visit day…. The Pup, Cousin T, and Friend J – all members of the weekly Monday Playdates- will be headed to the School to spend an hour in a real live Kinder Classroom…
Auntie j, and myself are doing pretty well with all this. Cousin T has been in preschool for 2 years, and the Pup is my baby, so I’ve done this twice before. Oh but Miss D… she’s having such problems…. she’s already sniffling! We’ll be there with her to support her in the ‘parents room’ they set up the first day of school, to hand her tissues and hold her hand when she realizes that her firstborn is a big School Boy now…
Me? i’m looking forward to it. *Chuckles* At least, so far. Ask me again in a few months…. *L*
