Good grief.

This isn’t what I intended to write about today – but for heavens sake, am I the ONLY PERSON ALIVE that watches a movie or reads a book in order to ENJOY A STORY? Without the need to over-analyze every little bit? Without the need to question everything about EVERY  word and what the motives are behind it? Seriously people – GET A LIFE. It’s a MOVIE. It’s a STORY. It is not something written/filmed to PERSONALLY ATTACK YOU…

It seems that a movie that hasn’t even OPENED yet, and has not even been SEEN by the people in question yet, is already pissing people off. Not only that, but it may be the only movie in history to piss off both the catholics AND the atheists AT THE SAME TIME. The Golden Campus – which doesn’t even OPEN for another week, has the catholics angry about the anti-church theme, and the atheists worried that it’s not anti-church enough.

Now, I have not read the books that the movie is based on, and even if I had, I probably wouldn’t be worried about EITHER. Are you people SO SURE that we are sheep without brains and will willingly follow every little suggestion that you’re attacking children’s movies BEFORE THEY ARE EVEN RELEASED now? Remember the whole “Tinky-Winky is GAY!” debacle?  It’s this kind of bullshit that makes people think of the word ‘church’ with distaste and irritation. It’s THIS kind of shit that sees your message LOST in translation, because you cannot rely on your message as truth, without attacking anything that goes against it. The Truth will set you free, remember? And if you have the Truth, other’s WILL see it without you making a fucking ass out of yourself.

This annoys me to no end. This is the kind of attitude that breeds the condenscending asshole hypocrites that has me avoiding all churches as if they have the plague. MAN it irritates the everlovin shit outa me. (Duh, Lessa, tell us something we don’t know…)

UGH.  IDIOTS.

Moving on.

What I REALLY was going to post was this:

healedup

Since I started the month talking about my trip and my tattoo, I thought I’d end the month by showing you how well it healed up. There’s a couple spots I will likely have to get retouched eventually, but all in all, I’m very pleased with it. I’m sure I had other things to say about it too? But I totally forgot in the wake of the  above rant. *L*

But hello! This is the last post for NaBloPoMo! I did it yet again! NOW! GIMME THE SOCK ZOMBIES!!! I mean, please let me win them? Cross your fingers for me!
