The Biggest Loser
At the ranch, Jillian and Bob are shocked to find the Brown team, Curtis and Mallory had been eliminated last week. They both said, after a round about explaination, they realized that it’s Game on. Mark says he knows its a game, they’ve been playing since the beginning.

Jackie and Dan were the weighin winners for the second week in the row, and as a reward, they have to hike to the top of the mountain (hill!) and retrieve their prize. There are three envelopes – family, gameplay, or luxury. They have to chose one of them, and discover what they win. They debate all the way up the hill. THey decide to choose the gameplay option, and discover…

…a commercial. As usual.

Back again, and Jackie and Dan have won the chance to cast two votes at the elimination this week. They’re both happy for that, for sure. Dan is hoping that some of the biggest competitors fall below the yellow line. They checked to see what they passed up – a family member visit for 24 hours, and free massages for them and another team. They’re happy with thier choice, and started back down the trail.

Back at the Gym, Bill and Jillian say they’ve been thinking about the numbers being so low last week. Bob knows the body will do what it wants to do, but Bob and Jillian are going to step it up. Everyone needs to take a look to the left and the right and ask if they’ve done better then those people. Everyone is there for themselves. Bob zeroes in on Amanda, who didn’t lose anything last week, then makes his way to others and encourages them to work harder then they have yet.

Bob talks to the girls about snacking and to start thinking about what it’ll be like when they go home. He tells them to use gum (Extra) to help them feel like they’re chewing without adding calories. Then it’s back to the gym. Bette-Sue is feeling exhausted and is having a hard time, and Bob is trying to tap into their competitiveness. He sends her walking with 20 pounds, and she tells us she couldn’t believe it, after all she’d already done- but she does it.

And Jillian is focusing on Neil again, and Amanda defends him to us. He admits he doesn’t handle change very well, but he’s getting more comfortable, and Jenn is sure he’s fooling people and they all see it. Bob catches him holding on to the bar on the tredmill and makes him hold the weights. And he stops walking. Jenn is frustrated with it.

Outside, Bette-Sue finishes her walk, and tells us about her aha moment, that she was holding the weight in her hands that two weeks ago was on her body. Inside, Ali is doing pull ups, and talking to Jillian and getting to the root of her issues with weight and how Ali has been compensating with food. Jillian encourages her to talk to her mom, and they head out to find her..

It’s challenge time! The teams are playing for immunity. Everyone is really targeting the black team – they (only one person per team is running – the other tells them where to put it) are running through a mud and water pit to grab and place medicine balls in each other’s table. Mark is running for black and the orange team is halfway to being eliminated. The other teams are targeting the black team too, and Jackie is being mouthy and it is seriously game on. Orange is the first team out. White is next out. Bernie finishes out the black team, and the brothers are arguing between each other because Mark told Bernie to go ahead and finish them out. Yellow team is eliminated, and Kelly is upset, because she tried really hard. Pink is out, and it’s down to Grey, Blue and Purple. Bernie is working hard, and there are seven balls in every rack. Maggie (purple) has a big decision to make – taking out grey or blue, and she looks back, and takes out Blue.

Right behind her, The Grey team take her out, Trent and Roger win immunity!

Back at the ranch, tensions ratchet higher and Neil tells Amanda he’s surprised that they were targeted the way they were. Amanda thinks his sense of humor is getting him in trouble and tells him to lay low. Jackie and Dan head straight to the gym and are surprised to find themselves the only one there. Many are worried about Mark and how competitive they are. Jay confronts him, and he says he’ll apologize if necessary. Brittany isn’t intimidated, and confronts the black team. She says it was insane that Mark overreacted, and tells us that Mark is just a sore ass loser.

Mark tells us that he decided he wanted to talk to everyone and make his apologies. And Jackie says it’s funny becuase he won’t admit the game he’s playing. Jay apologies if anyone was offended, but that it was what it was. Jackie and the brothers get into it, and Bette-Sue says that everyone said stuff, in the moment, so to chill. Orange and Pink get into it a bit, and black team calls them out on doing the same thing they were. And there goes the harmony in the house.

Jillian is working them out and telling them to push through the pain. And Neil is holding onto the treadmill again. Jillian says that she’s going to add five minutes for every time he touches the treadmill. He does, and five minutes are added to their sprints. Bette-Sue is scared and Jillian snaps “Are you going to die?” Bette-Sue says “Yes and you’ll feel bad!” and Jillian says “Nope, I’ll be SO GLAD because you’ll be my first casualty!” Bette-Sue rolls her eyes, but they end up laughing about it, which was the intended reasoning behind what Jillian said anyway. She added “You’re stronger then ever before. You know that, you’ll be fine, I promise!” and then starts them on the sprints again because of Neil. Black team is a-snarlin “if he makes me do ONE MORE SPRINT….”

Jillian takes Bette-Sue aside, later, and tells her about the conversation she had with Ali. Bette-Sue breaks down about having disappointed Ali so many times. Jillian says she did a good job though, because Ali is a great girl. Jillian encourages them to talk together, and make a fresh start to come out stronger and closer. (Yeah, yeah yeah, Tissue Alert!) Jillian brings Ali out, and gets them talking. Bette-Sue says at least they’re dysfunctional out in the open where they can talk about it. They end the convo with smiles and hugs and I love yous. awwwwww….

Its time for the last chance workout, and they start with 500 pushups (..ouch). Everyone is worried about the upcoming workout. Everyone tells us how they can’t afford to be below that yellow line. Next up – the weighin!

Trent and Roger are up first, and they lose -13 and -9, for -22 combined for 2.9% , and Trent is below the 400 mark! And on his Anniversary Too!
They have immunity though, and they are removed from the board. Bob calls them Nobel Men, because they didn’t have to work so hard, but did.

Dan and Jackie are up, trying for a three-pete. They lose -12 and -7, a total of -19 and 3.8%.

Purple is next, Maggie and Jenn. They lost -6 and -4 for 2.14%. Bob says they are going to have to work harder then anyone else, because Jenn is having trouble losing weight. She’s really frustrated, but happy with her total.

Black team is up. Jay and Mark lose -7 and -12 for -19 and 3.54%, putting them in second place.

Pink’s turn – Bette-Sue and Ali lose -8 and -6 for -14 and 3.1%.

Blue Team – Bernie and Brittany lose -13 and -7 for -20 and 4.25%! They take the lead away from Orange.

White is up – Neil and Amanda need to lose at least 15 pounds to stay above the yellow line. They lose -6 and -5 for -11 and 2.25%.
Jillian tells us Neil loses 6 because he’s always complaining, always giving up. That’s why he’s always showing smaller numbers then the other guys. Neil says he was disappointed. And the Purple team is definitely facing elimination.

Yellow is up. They need to lose 12 pounds to stay above the elimination line. Paul and Kelly lose -14 and -9 for -23 and 4.26 and they take lead by 100th of a percent! They went from being below the yellow line to the top team, and are thrilled! Allie had to tell Paul he had to leave the scale. Bernie laughs and says that’s the equivalent of his not shaving. You’ll never seen him unshaved again!

White and Purple are below the yellow line, and up for elimination in an hour. Neil and Amanda make their plea to stay. Amanda does the talking, tearfully, and Neil says they want to be there, and aren’t going to try and sway votes, but just know they want to be there. They expected him to change the attitude, and step up to the plate, but it didn’t really happen.

But there’s a twist at elimination that could change the game! (GASP!)

Jenn hopes for one more week they go with their hearts, and Amanda is still crying. Allie gets things started, and asks what the white team said during the hour. Neil says he left the talking to Amanda when asked, because she’s better at that and can turn on the tears – which has everyone doing a double take. The purple team says they pushed themselves, and its not a matter of wanting to be there, they NEED to be there. It’s time to begin…

Black votes White, Blue votes White saying that they are only working at 75%. Gray votes white as well, saying Neil wasn’t pulling his weight. Jackie says it’s about weight loss and drive, and she votes for the white team. They don’t need the second orange vote, or pinks vote. Amanda and Neil are leaving. Amanda says she hates they didn’t believe in them and she’s proud of Neil. Neil says he hates they see her as a slacker, but its nice to have at least one person that believes in him.

Neil says that he was working just as hard and is offended by that. (…uh, yeah. sure.) They say in April they’ll prove them all wrong.

TWIST TIME! Allie says that the Biggest Loser will enter a new phase and they have to make a very important decision that will effect the rest of the game. The question – If they could vote off one more team, right now, who would it be?

While they deliberate, it’s time for the BL visits with Amanda and Neil. They say they’re gonna wear shirts that say “Call us lazy now!” to the finale. They’ve been working hard, and they feel they’ve proven they learned. Neil has lost another 23 pounds and Amanda has lost another 24 since leaving the ranch.

…and we don’t get to see the twist results until next episode!

Next time – the twist pits 6 teams against 1!
