Finally, we get to see what the big announcement is and how it affects the competition! Bout time, I was on the edge of my seat. Heh.

We start right back where we left off, with the 7 teams told they’re going to enter a new phase with an important decision. Allie asks them if they could vote off one team, right now, who would it be? The decision will have an effect on the team from here on out. She gives them time to think about it, then they reconvened. Jenn and Maggie are in a rough situation, and they assume that everyone will go for the biggest threat. The orange team, unsurprisingly has Jackie going “Black!” and Dan talking her down. Mark and Jay talk about those they’re aligned with. Brittany and Berny are just as unsure as the rest of them. Roger and Trent think about voting purple because they were under the yellow line again – two below, you gotta go. They flip their tray between yellow and purple and go with that. Paul tries to convince Kelly to vote Black, while she pushes for grey, thinking they might be the bigger threat with more to lose.

They rejoin Allison and before finding out why, they reveal the votes. Paul and Kelly vote for Black. Brittany and Bernie vote for Black. Jen and Maggie vote for Yellow. Black team vote for Yellow. Trent and Roger vote for Purple. Jackie and Dan vote for Jen and Maggie. It’s a three way tie, with Pink making the ultimate decision. Bette-sue and Ali vote for Yellow.

Kelly and Paul (Yellow) get the biggest loser team of the week, and have been voted as the biggest threat. Kelly is in tears and gives a goodbye speach. THEN Alison explains they’re not going home. For this week only, the Biggest Loser becomes All Against One. For the next week, the only competition is the Yellow team. At the next weighin, it’s 6 teams against one. At the challenges, the same. If their percentage is above the other six teams, they choose who goes home. If it is below, they automatically go home. They get the choice of a trainer that will focus only on them. They choose Jillian. The other teams will train with Bob.

Iiiiiiiiiiiinteresting.

You can see the immediate tension in the house. As one of the girls says – Its not pretty. Kelly is pissed. Paul is taking the positive route though and says they awoken the fighter within him. He’s usually a teddy bear, now he’s going to have to get mean. He tells Kelly to find her inner warrior too. He’s ready to do battle.

They decide to rejoin the rest of the teams, as Paul tells us their ready for a fight and the outcome of any fight with him is pain. They find no one downstairs when they get there, which surprises them, as well. Let the battle begin!

Kelly and Paul meet with Alison the next morning and get the prize for being the team of the week. They hike up to find out what their prize is. Kelly wants family or Luxury, but Paul is pushing for Gameplay. Kelly makes a deal, if they win and are back next week, they at least think about family or luxury, so she agrees to pick Gameplay. They get to take an additional 2 pounds off at the weigh-in of their choice, which could be huge for them.

Bob and Jillian arrive to the other teams and immediately ask “where’s yellow?” The teams fill them in on what happened and what’s going on, and that Jillian is training them. They’re stunned, of course, and Jillian is feels horrible to know that if she doesn’t do everything she has to get them to win, she’ll have that on conscience, and if she helps them win, she’s instrumental getting someone else kicked off. Bob knows that now? The game is ON.

Paul puts on his Chinese kung fu outfit, and says he’s ready for battle. And Jillian comes in and tells them “Well one, I’m flattered- we’ll start with that!” She’s worried that they’re exasperating the problem by being anger and by being so driven. Jillian wants to be sure they have alliances and don’t make any enemies.

They get to the gym, and refuse to tell the other team what they won. As Paul says “The less they know, the more they worry.” Bob is pushing them HARD. Ali says this all vs. one has turned him into the devil and she’s scared for her life. Across the way, Jillian is being absolutely brutal and a couple times Kelly wanted to give up, but she kept it up. Jillian says she knows one on one is where she does her best work, so she’s giving it all she has.

We come back to see that Paul gets up in the middle of the night to work out on his own. Then Bob is showing Dan to make breakfast fr everyone else, which is, of course, oatmeal. Jackie tells us her entire concept of food has changed. Bob gives Dan a hard time because his mom always does the cooking, and everyone’s giggling and having a good time.

Won’t last long – it’s challenge time. All against one. They have to run across the balance beam, grab a peg, and put it in the board. Fall in the water, and start over. Each person has to place one peg in the board before another starts. The reward? Letters from home. And they’re off! Mark is there first, with Paul right behind him. Bernie goes, as Paul goes again for try number two, and Paul passes him up. Paul goes a third time before Bernie JUMPS to the end and sends Roger out. Paul passes him up too. IT’s 4-2. Paul again, as Jackie hurries across. Paul has five, and goes for number six. Trent is on the beam, as Paul heads back with number 6. Trent is still there, ten falls into the water and has to swim back to the start. Jay heads out and Paul has number 9. Paul is going to do them all but the last peg, and it’s Kelly’s turn to get the last peg. She’s half way there and moving good – and YELLOW WINS THE CHALLENGE! They SMOKED the others! 10-6! They win letters from home!

Paul and Kelly decide to give the rest of the teams their letters, they say it’s worth the sacrifice. They say they’re focused, and don’t want a distraction and they’re ok, so give up their winnings to the other teams. NICE move, guys!

Kelly talks to the orange team, while the other’s collectively start thinking about throwing the weighin, because they want the black team gone. They know if Kelly and Paul get a chance, they’ll vote off the black team. They decide to pull a Neil move – weighing their water, and chugging right before the weigh in. Sigh. I hate it when they do that shit! I know it’s a game… but… blarg. That’s why I’m not on the ranch, ya’ll.

Bob talks to the teams about the challenge, and there’s laughter and he’s shocked to find out the yellow team one. Bob says he smells heavy gameplay. He tells us they could be setting things up for a powerful aliance and he’s interested in seeing how the weighin turns out. He isn’t about gameplay, it drives him nuts, but he needs to be kept in the loop, and he doesn’t want to be made to look a fool. He will jump on the scale and rip their head off if they ‘only lose two pounds i dunno what happened!’

Jillian finds out her Yellow team won, and how they did it, and congrats all around. Then she finds out about them giving up the letters. Kelly knows it was the right decision, but she still misses them. Jillian says it’s the sweetest thing she ever heard. They’re focused though. Ready to kick some ass.

The other teams get back to their rooms and find the letters from home. Tissue alert! Lots of tears and talks of family and homesickness and sharing pictures all around.

It’s time for the weigh in!
Paul says he’s nervous, Dan says he is relaxed because they’re in good with the yellow team, and Mark says he’s nervous because he knows they’ll be going home.

It’s judgment day for the Yellow team. Allison spills the beans about the 2 pound win for being team of the week. All the teams weigh in before the Yellow team. And the Team of the week this time gets immunity.

Pink is up first. Bette Sue loses 7 and Ali loses 8 which puts her under 200 pounds. 3.43%
Grey Team. Trent loses 13 and Roger 12 loses for 3.46%
Blue team. Bernie loses 7 and Brittney loses 2 for 2% as Bob says it doesn’t add up. heh. But he’s giving them a look, so methinks he knows.
Black team. Mark loses 14 and Jay loses 10 for 4.64%
Purple is up. Maggie loses 3 and Jenn loses 7 for 2.19%
Orange Team. Dan loses 1 and Jackie loses 2 for .62% And we see bob’s jaw DROP. Mark says he sees them in a different light, it was gameplay 100% and he wants to make sure there are consequences. Bob says it’s shocking. Dan tells us they did it on purpose to bring down the average. Bob says “People in this game will do what they want to do.” Jackie says she doesn’t make the rules, she’s just in the game. that brings down the groups average to 2.81%

Yellow decides to use their 2 pounds this weigh in. They have to lose more then 12 pounds.
Paul loses 9 and Kelly loses 8 for 17 pounds! Paul runs down and grabs Jillian and carries her up to the stage with them as they find out they lost 3.39%! However, the black team, is the biggest loser team of the week, and thus are immune! The looks on their faces are priceless. There’s a lot of worried out there.

Paul and Kelly head to their room to think about what they’re going to do. They agree that this decision sucks. The orange team joins them and they discuss it. Jackie puts up Bette-Sue and Ali but cautions them not to be emotional. Paul is going for the teams that voted against them, so it’s between Pink and Purple. Paul and Kelly go and talk to the pink team, and talk to them about why they voted and Ali says she would promise if they need too, and is worried that it would be a revenge vote. They then talk to the purple team who insists that they have the Yellow teams back, and gives their word. Jackie and Dan make some comments in private bout it being nice not to have to pack. Kelly and Dan feel like they will devistate someone and hate it.

Time for Elimination. Paul and Kelly tell Alison it’s been an exhausting week, highs and lows, and Kelly says she’s not happy now, either. Kelly says she doesn’t know, she just wants to stay, lose weight, as long as they can. Black team is looking a little smug, but they deserve too. Decision time.

Kelly says it’s tough, they all want to be there and deserve to be there and she hates to crush someone’s dream. She says she doesn’t know what to do, just like last week. She tells the purple team they’re working, but they aren’t seeing it on the scale and that they want to see better numbers, and she doesn’t want any obligations, and she knows the three (pink, purple, black) put them there in that position. It’s because of them that they have to do this. They’re voting home a team that they like, and they hate it. It doesn’t make it easier and she’s not patronizing them in any way. The pink team stops them… and Kelly continues That said, Yellow team votes for…

…Pink team. Bette-Su and Ali are out. Ali says they’re the first team to get unjustly sent home. She isn’t sure she can do it at home, and it sucks. Bette-Sue says everyone should quit kissing everyone’s ass, and she’s not a good loser, but there’s a whole lot of fake going on. But they’re gonna come back skinner then “all you damn people.”

There are only 6 teams left, and the competition is heating up. Starting next week, they are no longer voting off teams. One of them will say goodbye to their partner at the next elimination.

Ali and Bette Sue say that it’s been a great experience, and to have each other’s support has opened a new level of trust and communication and they’re grateful.

Bette-Sue is down to 212 and has lost 49 lbs, and Ali is down to 173 and has lost 61 pounds – she looks INCREDIBLE. They’re still working out together, and love it. Ali says she’s the first women biggest loser, and may not have the title, but she’ll definately have the body!

Next week, see what brings possibly the toughest trainer in America, Jillian, to tears.
