Make me a Nekkid Supermodel – and other news

Aryn, America? Really? And here you had my hopes so high after the first couple of weeks. Sigh. HOW could you let Jay’s mama call in so many damn times? SERIOUSLY?

Well, Aryn was eliminated, leaving Jay in the running to be the Next Top…wait. Wrong show – same premise. Then this week, after last weeks sexy lingerie, we get nekkid models! Whoo! They pose for a life drawing class (Where were they when I had to take live drawing?!) for 10 minutes a peice. Then they got to do a living art arrangement which was really kinda cool. They were all painted black, with various shiny bits and bobs, and then of course there’s the runway show. Jay is in the bottom three AGAIN, along with Casey and Katy. Here’s hoping that ya’ll got it right this time! We’ll find out on Thursday.

In other news!

ABC has announced their newest Bachelor, holding tight to their tried and true (and failed 10 times) method of choosing a typical Handsome Prince to vie for the hearts of the ladies. Matt Grant has one thing going for him though – he’s from London, and has a lovely accent. Maybe this international financier will find the woman of his dreams to help him sew his less then wild oats. 25 ladies will start competing for his affections on March 17th.

The new Bachelorette was also recently announced – these are two shows I don’t normally watch, so… but you know, can’t talk about one without the other. the last Bachelor, where Brad decided not to continue a relationship with either of the final two, opened the door for one of the rejected women to have her own shot at men on the offshoot show. DeAnna, who told Brad off at the After The Rose special for breaking her heart, will be sifting through the hopefuls for that one guy who won’t leave her standing alone in a Rose Garden. They’re currently in casting. (Check out ABC.com if you’re desperate interested.)

Also casting is an astonishing 21st season! Man. I feel old. I also can’t believe it’s still on! They’re looking for the most interesting people they can find. If you think they’re one of them – here are the dates:
