Shear Genius: DIY
The short cut challenge this week was a fun one – to watch anyway as we gasped and laughed at the horror on the Stylists faces as they had to participate in it. They each choose their clients and then were told they will start with color, then when told to do so, the clients will switch chairs. The judging will be on the client that ends up in their chair, so they have to work with what they get. I think this is the best challenge EVER *L* Just from the looks of horror on their faces.
There are tears and mini therapy sessions, and really big bright ass Kool-aid red color for a blond. Heh. There were no real stand outs, but Dee comes out on top, and the red color job puts Meredith last. The stylists get all pissy and bitchy and snippy with each other afterwards at the loft, before they sleep and head back to the studio.
Dee picks the models for everyone, and gives Charlie the last spot in hopes of putting a crimp in his winning style – not that it matters as he has immunity from last week. The style is to be something easy for the client to maintain at home – and the kicker is the hair show isn’t until the next day, and they can’t help their clients as they do their own hair for the show – so teach ’em up good, folks!
At the elimination, Charlie is blasted for not doing color and playing it safe, so it’s a good thing he has immunity. Glenn comes out on top, and nearly passes out on the runway for it. ON the other end, Nekisa skates by once again, and Meridith gets cut. She, of course, says that the judges don’t know what they’re talking about. Naturally.
