Biggest Loser: oh no she DIDN'T!

BiggestLoser

Our losers don’t get much time to celebrate their victory, because they have their first challenge straight off the bat, before they work out. This week’s theme is “Choices”. Whoever steps across the board, gets a 2 pound advantage – but loses their trainers. It’s bound to go up, of course, to make the decision harder, but someone doesn’t wait that long. The pink team debates – because they are the smallest girls there and 2 pouns could be make it or break it. Brown team thinks if the ante ups to 4, they might take it, then out of nowhere, she doesn’t even talk to her partner before Tracey steps over the line.

Everyone is shocked. Sean even calls her a crazy woman. She defends her decision by saying that she didn’t want anyone else to take 4 or 6 or 8 and her not get it. Mo? Not happy. She took his trainers from him too.

Then they get to break the news to Bob and Jillian – and every time Tracy gives that wide eyed shocked deer in the headlights look, I want to punch her in the throat. Just sayin. What, did she expect that everyone would be happy? No. Jillian and Bob tell everyone to get in the gym, and have a little talk with Mo and Tracy. They consider it a slap in their face, Bob and Jillian, and rightfully so.
As Bob said “this is our purpose, and it’s like oh. we got rid of you for 2 pounds.” Jillian tells us millions of people would kill to spend one day with them – and Tracy gives it up for 2 pounds. She’s not the brightest bulb. Not the brightest bulb.

Tracy says she’s scared and doesn’t want to leave. She pulls out the tears, and it doesn’t make me feel sorry for her at all. Sorry to say this is a theme through the rest of the show too. The tell her when she feels the panic, to acknowledge it, but to NOT get impulsive and ask herself how the choice will get her closer to the goal. She thinks they’re trying to control her, and Tracy tell us she came here to win, not get sent home. She doesn’t even seem to realize what she’s really done, or why everyone is so upset.

Abby goes to the doc and discovers she has a stress fracture and has to take it easy this week. This, understandably, makes her nervous. It makes Bob nervous too, but he gives her tips to make sure she stays on point, even though she’s working out differently than everyone else. This, of course, includes product placement! Yoplait this time.

Time for their first temptation. This time? It’s for complete control over the weigh in. Only 1 person from each team will represent them at the weighin, and the winner of the temptation will decide exactly who will be counted in the weigh-in. They can’t see each other, and they all get silver trays. Whoever eats the most cupcakes (100 calories a piece) in 10 minutes? Wins the control.

They’re all torn on what to do, there’s a whole lot of sniffing going on. Then Alison starts adding more cupcakes of different flavors and toppings. Danny says something about sugar and his partner Liz yells “YOU BETTER NOT EAT A CUPCAKE!” and everyone laughs. 6 minutes left and no one’s budging. Then Tracy’s eyes start bulging again.

Antoine eats a cupcake, and Ali says “Someone is winning it right now.”

Guess who is triggered to think this is a game, who doesn’t like to win? Yeah. Tracy. “I don’t think thre’s anything wrong with it. Antoine says it’s like being a little kid doing what you’re not supposed to do.

Two people ate. Sean is shocked to hear Antoine ate, and tells him “You better won!” Mo says nothing.

Antoine ate 2.
Tracy ate 4.

Tracy says she thought it was only three, and she was shocked, and didn’t like the way the cupcakes made her feel. Now she has all the power. No one looks happy. Dan says she’s a lose cannon, they don’t know what to do. Others call her a wild card, and Mo leans down and whispers in her ear “What were you thinking?” Poor Mo!

They have to fess up to Bob and Jillian again, and they want to know who cares about that? That’s what people do at the end when you’re crazy. Bug-eyes again from Tracy, before she confesses again. Jillian is pissed. She tells her she hates wasting her time, it pisses her off. She has to calm down because she wants to throttle her with her own hands, and bob says he said everything he had to say to her yesterday. They’re adults.

Jillian reminds her that it takes will power and time and mental strength, and they talked to her for an hour 1 on 1 and she threw everything they said away. Tracy asks if she’s not worth that hour, and Jillian said she was worth so much that they ignored everyone else, and she said it was a waste of her time. Jillian says her message has been received. Loud and clear. She tells us Tracy and Mo are a wash. They’ll help everyone else.

Bob hates the game, and game players. They get fat again. That’s what happens.

Mo watches what Bob and Jillian have everyone else to do, and then hops in to do exactly that. It’s all he has. He does what he cans.

Since it’s a week of choices, Jillian asks Danny if he wants Sledgehammer or kettlebells. He says Sledgehammer and she laughs “Aren’t I nice?!” and promptly works him to the ground, with childish glee.

It’s challenge time! The choices theme continues. The winner gets Immunity. Allen knows this is important for them, with Abby injured, and Tracy in control. The goal is to get 500 pounds to the top of the ramp. How they do it, though, is their choice. They can 2 five pound weights at a time from close, or 25 pound weighs from a farther distance. Mo, Allen (Tracy and Abby are injured) and and Julio (no teammate) are competing as individuals – and only need 250 pounds.

What are their choices – 10 or 25?
Purple does 10, Liz does 25, Julio 25, Antoine 25, Shay 25, Allen 10, Pink 10, Blue 10.

And they’re off! Green and Pink are neck and neck, and Allen hopes to pace himself and out sprint them at the end. the 25 pounders make a difference as each drop has them catching up quickly. It’s all about Pink and Green though, as they’re neck and neck. Green drops theirs in, and Pink is right behind them. Allen is slow and steady. Sean says he’s a beast, he’s a firefighter! It’s not fair! (but he says it with a smile) Green has 4 trips left, and is ahead of Pink by one.

ALLEN WINS IMMUNITY FOR THE GREEN TEAM!

Pink is in second, and everyone keeps working. Liz says it’s crazy to stop just because someone else won. You finish it. Rudy says finishing had to happen. Giving up isn’t waht it’s all about. Shay says not winning isn’t going to stop her from completing her journey. She’s not gonna give up. And Antoine and Sean finish up together, and strong, running up the ramp the final time side by side. Then they all help Mo, and walk him up that last ramp together as a group.

During the last chance workouts, Jillian explains the difference between her and Bob. He’s the good parent, she’s the bad parent. She won’t sugarcoat anything. Quiting is a choice. Choose to do it, or choose to quit. Dina tells her just don’t talk. she’ll do it, but don’t talk. And Dina gets back up on the treadmill and does it. Jillian nods, tells her that was solid. And guess what? Do it again. Meanwhile Bob is all over Amanda. She calls him crazy, says she can’t, and he forces her to do it and prove she can.

Bob: See? Don’t ever sway you can’t do anything! Pisses me off!

Time for folks to approach Tracy, and folks talk about who they want to have their weight count. Dan wants her to pick him, because it betters their chances. The pink team talk to her, and asks what they want Amanda says her numbers have been low, and Rebecca is kicking butt, they want Rebecca to count. Tracy says she’s worried if she goes below the line, and wants to know how they’d vote. Rebecca said she can’t say how she’d vote, it’d be a tough decision no matter what. Tracy says its all about choices. Tracy tells us they shunned her, so good luck.

Time for the weigh-in. Two teams will go below the yellow line, and one team will go home. Tracy admits that she wouldn’t make the same decision again. Mo says that he supports his teammate. He as surprised but supportive. Jillian cuts in and said no – you don’t support someone when they make a crappy decision. It’s not ok. He needs to be there and needed help, and one of them could have helped him. If she wanted to throw herself in the fire, fine, but she is certain that Tracy learned nothing and is full of shit. Mo needs to look out for himself, because Tracy won’t do it for him.

Yup. Jillian’s still pissed!

Here we go – Tracy will decide who counts before they weigh in. She burns a lot of bridges, by going against the Pink Teams wishes, and picking Amanda instead of Rebecca right after they tell Ali they’d talked and what they’d asked for. Amanda surprises everyone with a 5 pound loss, and tells us that she did it to spite Tracy. Tracy doesn’t honor her word to the orange team either, and picks Shay, which has Jillian gritting her teeth. Tracy says she talked to Shay, and Shay says no. She doesn’t have control over her life. Dan gives her a peptalk when they come up 1 pound short.

Jillian says it’s the nastiest form of gameplay she’s ever seen. Shay wasn’t a threat. This is gross. Rebecca goes on the attack and says Tracy just stop, and take responsibility for your actions. Tracey tells us she doesn’t understand what’s wrong with fighting to be here longer. Tracy decides to represent their team, and only has to use 2 pounds. They all hope she doesn’t make it so they can send her home. She does with 11. There is no applause, at all. Bob looks like he might for a second, then tucks his hands into his pocket. Jillian says “Fuck.”

Ali says it’s hard not to notice there’s no applause. Tracy says of course not. Mo tells us isn’t losing 11 pounds a good thing?!

The Red team and Orange team are below the yellow line. NExt up we have the tearful pleas to stay. Shay doesn’t think she can make it if she goes home. Sean and Antoine sacrifice themselves. They ask them to send them home, because they have a great support system waiting for them. They’ve learned a lot and they think they can do it, and Shay needs to be here. He just throws it out there – and tells us that the greatest gift they can give is Self-Sacrifice. Shay doesn’t have the support they have at home. They’re worried, but they know they can do it.

They send them Sean and Antoine home with a whole bunch of tears, and we get to see them today: Sean is down 120 pounds, and is running around with his kids. It’s his second chance.

Antoine not only is down 105, but we get to see him and Alexandria (eliminated week 1) together – the first thing he did when he got home was call her up, and they’ve been dating ever since. AWWWWWWWWWW!

Next week? Tracy is injured and told not to work out. Karma, anyone?
