A post a long time coming…
So. I’ve been thinking about this a lot, and well, it’s something that I just have to do.
2007: Big Brother 8
2008: Big Brother 9, Big Brother 10, BBi 1
2009: BBi 2, BBe 1, BB11.
2007-09: Blog network for Survivor, Big Brother, Rachael Ray, Johnny Depp, Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears.
I’m burnt out. It’s emotionally and mentally exhausting, and I’ve been going non-stop Big Brother since BB9. Try as I might, folks aren’t answering their emails, and I won’t do a half-assed season. I truly appreciate everyone who has applied, and made the extra effort. For now, The Big Brother Experience is on hold, indefinitely.
If someone else wants to try their hand at running the new season – I’ll be happy to provide the board, the space, the applications, and place you as mod so that you can do exactly that. If you are interest in doing so – email me at bbe@realitydaze.com with your concept/theme and a couple sample competitions and we’ll see what we can do.
As for Reality Daze – after 3 years of mandatory recaps and daily-ish updates for a network, and 3 seasons as total coverage for Big Brother, as you can tell – I’m slacking, and simply need a break for a bit. I will continue to do recaps for various reality shows, though maybe not as in depth or word for word like I’ve been doing.
Bottom line, I’m cutting myself some slack for a bit, and I hope you all understand. I’m going to watch the shows we love with my family, and get my snark on at a leisurely pace.
I’m going to concentrate on making ParentingTeensBlog one of THE go-too sites for raising your teenagers.
I hope you understand, and still follow us here on Reality Daze. I will get caught up on recaps over the weekend, and we can get our snark on together in the comments section.
Thank you for all your visits, your comments and your support. I truely appreciate it. And maybe after I get a bit more rest, and my mind quits balking at OMGMOARNOWAI, we’ll be back into full swing once more.
I will most DEFINITELY be in total full coverage swing for our true love, Big Brother 12 at BigBrotherCraze next summer.

Just a short note to tell you I will miss you. ALOT!!! Loved what you did to help me pass the time. Loved the people I’ve met from your site. Good luck to you and your faimly. Hope to talk to you next summer.

Of course, you need a rest. Yu can’t just go 90 miles an hour and it not catch up with you. Enjoy your family. You have to be mom and dad, and that is HUGE.
