I love it when I’m right.
Me: So – having fun?
TheBoy: Yeah! I’m glad you convinced me to go! Never seen school spirit like that, really. Kinda cool!
Heh. So we saw the parade, and the boy hung out (on his own – I left so no one’d know I was related. snort. Like they didn’t already figure it out with us screaming and yelling “WHOO! GO KENAI! HI SEAN! WHOO! CLASS OF 2010 ROCKS! (omfg. he has a ‘class of’ now!) (GAH!) WOOO!) at the bonfire for a while, long enough to find out the Float they made got third place (beat the JUNIORS. Booyah!). He’s home now with a bit of a headache. The girls will be home anytime now – the girls being The Girl and her best friends, the Twins. They’re gonna go check in at the bonfire, see if anything is left burning, though the boy said it burned down to embers pretty quickly.
Nope – no bonfire for the girls, but they breezed in here just long enough to grab things and rush off to spend the night with the Twins. *chuckles*
So – more later, perhaps, after the game. While I’m crying about his going to the dance. or something. *sniff* For now – a bit of amusement:
[20:12] L: and the Freshman Float won 3rd place *g*
[20:12] L: (they beat the juniors. hee!)
[20:17] Mei: hah! cool! good for them!
[20:18] L: yup *grins* he’s pleased. He didn’t stay too long, but says he had a good time. Looking forward to the games/bbq/dance tomorrow.
[20:31] Mei: good! (grin) Maybe he’ll get points with that girl
[20:32] L: maybe.
[20:32] L: HEY!
[20:32] L: wait!
[20:32] L: NO!
[20:32] L: *L*
[20:32] Mei: (cracks up)
Harumph. Oh, and thought I forgot pictures? Not even. *grin*
