– Ok, so Mei insisted that I read these, even knowing how I am about happy endings. Fortunately, I am willing to wait for my happy endings, because everytime I pick a favorite char, they die. heh. War and swordfights and a great old world feel without relying heavily on magic… well, it’s a definite winner. Gritty and more *real* then other series, I think. I still want a happy ending!
