NEXT WEEK: A Reflection
—
We’ve had several gray and dismal days this week, and today was no exception, though it was the last chance to get my photohunt picture taken and sumitted. So the girls and I ran down to the bridge, and then to the docks, where things are thawing nicely, just in time for fishing season which is right around the corner.
A Visitor!
So! I had a visitor today! this morning the buglet came over to spent the morning (yes! MORNING!) with auntie. We had much fun, and watched boobah and chased each other and he poked hisself in the eye trying to put contacts in like Auntie did, and it was quite amusing!
And I taught him something NEW! I grabbed him up and nibbled on his baby belly and said “i’ma Eat da Buglet!” and he was enthralled, so then it was singson “ead da buuuuuuuuugget!” and boy is momma not quite amused (but oh! I am SO AMUSED!) I even got it on video. I even caught him saying my name! (FINALLY!) See? (bout 3mb – anyone know how to compress these smaller??)
We also amused some older folks at the food bank where he ran me in circles and we said “eat da bugget!” and we got “candy” and “apples” which he took a bite out of every one BEFORE it went into the bag, and then ran down the hall with momma in fast persuit while I called out “RUN BABY RUN!” One poor ole guy looked like he was gonna hurt hisself laughing! I was very amused. Even more so when it was realized that momma didn’t hear my “encouragement” and I just shrugged and said “i’m da auntie.” when she found out. BWAHAHAHA.
Being a mom is great? But being AUNTIE? Rocks. Cuz now? he’s at home with momma! HAHAHAHA!
Spring Pictures – take two and three *g*
Well, sheesh – I coulda waited one more day so as to post all three together if I had known they’d be here today! But here they are, completing the set of kids who are just TOO GROWN UP for this momma’s heart. The girl *loves* the way her’s turned out, and the boy, well, he’s the boy. *L* He couldn’t be bothered to take off the sweatshirt, or fix his hair or oh, I dunno, smile in a less smirky “take it already and leave me alone” way. Sheesh. Some people’s kids. Harumph.

Laura:
Man, were your parents weird – but you were my every thought for many years. We’d such plans; no matter the different schools, we were inseparable -everything was perfect, until you moved. Where are you now?

Kimmy:
Everything I wanted to be in high school – thin, athletic, popular, strong, funny, pretty. I wondered why you chose me to befriend – yet grateful. Always the adventurer, you disappeared. I hope happiness finds you.
