This is not my first election. This is, however, the first where so many fucking people have pissed me off so fucking much.<\/p>\n

You’d think with less then 3 hours until the polls closed that the fuckers would STOP CALLING ME with their little automated messages, wouldn’t you? but oh no. I’ve received no less then 15 calls TODAY ALONE. AND had someone come to my door this morning. <\/p>\n
I understand that we’re in the middle of a rather ugly senate seat race. Whooptifuckingdo. You really think that calling me REPEATEDLY on a DAILY basis with your little recorded messages is going to do anything other then piss me off? And when i DO get a ‘real’ person on the line, you think i’m not going to waste your time like you’ve been wasting mine for the past few months? for chrissakes – just shut UP already.<\/p>\n
Today – I’d had enough. Knowles campaign showed up at my door, and then when I arrived home (after I’d voted, for those that give a fuck) I recieved – I shit you not – 6 calls in 5 minutes from the Knowles campaign.<\/p>\n
The first was a real person. “are you going to vote….” and I inturrupted with “No you motherfucker I’m going to find all you goddamn telemarketing telephoning ASSHOLES and vote to shove my FOOT UP YOUR ASS” and slammed the phone down.<\/p>\n
I’m not known for subtlety when I’m irritated.<\/p>\n
the next five times my phone rang it was their automated messages. I? was pissed. So I called up their campaign headquarters in anchorage – not giving a fuck it was a long distance call. The lady that answered heard this:<\/p>\n
“You just lost my fucking vote because I got 6 phone calls in the last 5 fucking minutes, bitch.”<\/p>\n
And I hung up. And called my sister and had her call too. (she probably didn’t, but I tried to tell her too. *L* she never did listen good.)<\/p>\n
Not five minutes ago, Lisa Murkouski got the same exact phone call from me to her campaign headquarters after receiving a recorded message, less then 3 hours before the polls closed. All I heard of it was “i know you’ve received a lot of calls and I appologize.” well fuck that shit – if you were sorry you WOULDN”T STILL BE CALLING ME! christ.<\/p>\n
Is it ANY wonder I fucking hate politics? I sure hope the legalizing weed passes – I could use a toke or four. *Smirk*<\/p>\n
Every. Fucking. Time. they call me now, I’m calling their headquarters. and you can be damn well sure that if I find their home numbers? I’m gonna return the favor over the next few months.<\/p>\n
