…well, more of a goal.<\/p>\n
You see, I’ve been writing for 451 Press for about 6 months now. I write for not one, not two, but THREE blogs for them. I had a monetary goal that I wanted to reach using the pay scale they had set up (40% of ad revenues). I knew that September was my last chance to make that goal, because they’re moving on to a bigger, better, more lucrative pay model – HURRAY! But I still wanted to reach that goal on the old model. I’d worked for SIX MONTHS to reach that goal. When I picked up the Big Brother Craze blog I knew it was within my reach. I knew I could do it. I was PUMPED! I KNEW I HAD IT MADE!<\/p>\n
I just got my revenue reports.<\/p>\n
I missed it.<\/p>\n
by TWO PENNIES.<\/p>\n
TWO!<\/p>\n
PENNIES!<\/p>\n
It kills me. KILLS ME. I was SO CLOSE! Forever I shall look at September and mutter “TWO! PENNIES!”<\/p>\n
Sigh. Making more money next month on the new model will be a good thing. But still, I shall forever bemoan being SO CLOSE to my goal, yet so very far….<\/p>\n
