Once everyone was dressed, we got our tram tickets, and headed down the street to the bench. We caught one of the first trams of the day and we were off to Disneyland! Through bag check, through the gates, and we were there in the giant human maze run by a rat! Whoot!

We walked down mainstreet, reinstructed the pup and wolf on “Meandering” vs. “walking very fast and killing the fat assed alaskan” and headed toward the Castle. Over the draw bridge, the kids’ eyes wide and trying to take in everything all at once, and we hit the carasaul first.

Then, to the Teacups! The pup wanted to ride them so fast she threw up, but alas, her and daddy’s cup wouldn’t spin much. Apparently they’ve adjusted some of them and they got a bum one, but still, she had fun, which of course was the name of the game.

We had a blast – we didn’t wait any longer then 20 minutes for any one ride. Right after the teacups we hit the Matterhorn, and rode it twice (there’s two sides! both different! *L*) and the boy quickly realized that he wasn’t REALLY afraid of roller coasters anymore – and we were OFF! Working our way back to the “bumbos” the pup wanted to ride.

Indiana Jones (where the assholes stuck me on the right hand side where the BIG GIANT SNAKE hovered a foot above my head…. TBF’s wife LIED to me! I knew she would! And to think for a brief moment I TRUSTED her! *Sob* but knowing where it was, meant I didn’t have to look! HA! take THAT! *shudders*) The treehouse, big thunder mountain, the dumbos, toon town, the gocoaster, Mickey and minnie’s house, Mr. Toads wild ride, roger rabbits wild ride, the haunted mansion, Tom Sawyers island, Splash mountain (a first for me) the jungle cruise, pirates….. We discovered the pup has NO FEAR whatsoever and would ride anything, and when told “I’ll bet you can’t do the whole thing with your hands in the air” proved she was more determined then ALL of us, and could very well ride an entire coaster without holding on, even when sliding her skinny little behind all over the seat as on Big Thunder Mountain! *L*

We conveniently missed the “Its a small world” ride, again, and all along we told the pup we’d get back to let her ride storybook land so that she could “get swallowed by the whale!”

We met Tigger and Minnie and Mickey and saw Cinderella and even caught a glimpse of Belle and Snow White riding the Carrasaul, though we didn’t get close enough for a picture.

It was getting late by this time – we’d done a LOT in just a few hours, hitting all the big rides and several little ones in between, and everyone got to ride what they really wanted too – and TBF and his wife were getting tired so opted to head back to the hotel, after wrapping up the pup in TBF’s long sleeve shirt because she was getting chilly. We had promised her she could watch the holiday parade, and the older ones wanted to check out California adventure before it closed, so we all seperated and I took the pup back and caught the very last story book land cruise, and let her go into the whale before we got some cotten candy and settled down to wait for the parade.

We were joined by the Asshole and the older kids, as they CA closes earlier then disneyland, and found they’d hit the roller coaster, the maliboomer and a couple of other little rides before they closed. Everyone was all kinds of excited, and we cuddled together and watched the holiday parade before dragging our very sore and tired behinds back to catch the tram and head home for an ordered dinner and fireworks! Real! fireworks! OMG. They were stunning!

The pup completely missed them that night, as she had barely gotten to the hotel before she crawled into bed and crashed. She didn’t MOVE for the next 8 hours straight. *chuckles* The other two weren’t far behind, and even Asshole and I called it an early night to get some sleep.

More (and the full sized version of the pictures) here.

Which brings us to part three – California Adventure!

Read Part One here Tuesday, November 30: Disneyland!
