\nFirst off – I get a call this morning in a panic about a server problem on a site that I’m not affiliated with at all, I just know the owner. I had to sooth my resident drama mama, at 8am. I finally get back to bed after walking her through what needed to do, and she calls 20 minutes later and wakes me up AGAIN… fortunately to offer me 200 bucks for updates on a site i DID design. Heh. I’ll let her live. This time. <\/p>\n

Needless to say I didn’t go back to sleep, much as I would have liked too. So I’ve been getting some work done here and there, working on my site who’s SQL database went completely kaput causing me to have to redo the entire bloody thing from scratch, which REALLY pissed me off – but I did get 3 months free hosting from the deal so that was cool of them. And working on new menu’s and setups for Xtreme Wildlife<\/a> and generally just getting some work done.<\/p>\n

And out of the blue pops an aquaintence (i couldn’t count her a friend) with her epiphany and wanting to share it. There’s some pretty long background with this person. She is a very young, idealistic, head in the clouds, the world is as I see it kind of person. No one’s opinions matter but hers, and she will go off on these wild crusades that…. are unimportant or don’t need to be crusaded for, and expect all to follow in – and when some do, promptly disappear and let everything fall apart. She is young, barely 21 or 22, and that is a good part of the problem I know. I’d like to think I wasn’t that way, but all of us in our youth were to some extent, i’m sure.<\/p>\n

She and I had it out quite some time ago – she defending someone, then being angry about something I’d posted in Roleplay chat (IC even – heaven forbid my character have thoughts about hers!) all in all being VERY high-handed, high and mighty, condensending, and generally a pain in my ass with her little cutting biting comments everytime we were in a room together after that. So I quit talking to her. Even others were like “Damn – she’s got a bug up her ass about you!” but see – I was the only one who’d not put up with the shit. My opinions are just that. Mine. Her’s are hers. Hers are also wrong. But she’s young, she’ll learn. *smirk*<\/p>\n

So today, for some reason, I actually replied. I was cool, I didn’t blast her, my replies were basically short and sweet. Not putting anything of myself out there until she commented on needing someone who’d stand up to her intellectially (she is EXTREMELY intelligent – just has no street smarts or common sense at ALL. Sheltered pampered little daddy’s girl.) And I said I don’t work that way, I prefer going Irish Mafia on someone’s ass, or simply cutting them out of my life and forgetting they exist until they grow the fuck up. <\/p>\n

She started with “aw, poor T. ” (the two-bit texan whore who married my cousin and generally fucked me over but good. She deserves every bit of unhappiness she gets. Merry fuckin Christmas.) and I was like, whatever. She then said something about being glad that she was never on my shit list. And I popped off with “you haven’t been OFF it yet.”<\/p>\n

Heh. Then she ‘suddenly’ remembered why, started talking about it, and I pointed out that it was high and mighty condenscending everything is my way that we were just talking about that turns people off and that THAT was the reason I never speak to her unless she contacts me, and even then it takes a while for me to decide if I’m going to reply or not.<\/p>\n

Her. “High and mighty? *arches brow* Me? That’s a first. No one’s ever said that about me. Well. Have fun, Lessa.” and she logged out.<\/p>\n

Yeah. No one says it to her FACE perhaps. They’ve said it to me often enough. I’m the only one who won’t let a 21 year old pampered paper doll dictate how I react to life not viewed through her rose-colored glasses.<\/p>\n

At least I’m sure she won’t be sharing any of her ‘epiphanies’ with me anytime soon. They’re COMMON FUCKING SENSE for chrissakes. Get out from under mommies checkbook and discover real life.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
