Alrighty – first of all, did you SEE Mr. Dimples last night at the Emmys? I mean sure, I tuned in to watch Neil Patrick Harris like the rest of the sane world (and how AWESOME was the Dr. Horrible segment? And the whole milking his supporting actor emmy loss for laughs? (he was ROBBED, ROBBED I say!) – but added bonus was the best Reality Host award for Jeff Probst.<\/p>\n
Sigh. Let’s just bask in the glow of his Tuxedo’d Glory a moment, alright? Oh yeah, baby.<\/p>\n
Ok – Back to Survivor, where Jeff wears his shorts and blue shirts and still looks good! Over at Reality Blurred, Andy<\/a> was on the actual set of Samoa when they filmed the first episode, and has some cool little insider facts for us – such as:<\/p>\n * Both tribes had to vote twice for leader because they tied the first time. The first time on Galu, Shambo and Russell tied with four votes each, and Erik got two. On Foa Foa, Mick and Jaison each got three votes, with Mike, Marisa, Liz, and Russell H. each getting one. The editing merged the two votes.<\/p>\n * One of the Foa Foa boats flipped as they got close to shore, which is why some of them are soaking wet.<\/p>\n * Jeff had the two leaders write down their selections for challenge roles before announcing them, so they couldn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t change their minds or get some kind of visual cues from their tribe members.<\/p>\n * We helped rehearse the challenge that was in the preview for next week.
