This was sung before he was even a glimmer in his mama&#8217;s eyes! It&#8217;s from late 80s! 1989, I think!&#8221; and she looked at me blankly. And then I spent a couple hours trying to remember Roxette&#8217;s name &#8211; during which I tried to feel better about the fact that I&#8217;m working with BABIES at the store&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Babies who look at you blankly when you mention 1989.<\/p>\n<p>Add to that, a cashier asked me, all so happily:<br \/>\n&#8220;MOM! (they all call me mom) Do you have any of you 80s clothes left? They&#8217;re back IN!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Harumph. Do I have any left. LIKE I STOPPED WEARING THEM. *slips on leg warmers and leggins and long t-shirt and POOFS HAIR* Yeah boy!<\/p>\n<p>But mostly &#8211; Justin Beiber.
