Yes. Granted, most of that is my fault, for having named the pup something that BEGS to be singsangsung all the time. In fact, I myself sing her full name, and then the ‘name game’ to her every morning to wake her up. Really, with a name such as JessiAnna – how could I not? It just begs to be drawn out… “jessiAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNna….”

I digress. I was speaking of the Dentist. Yes.

Dr. Ing! So named because not only is it part of his name, but he also possesses many many -ing things! This tool is whistle-ing, that one spray-ing, that one suck-ing, and of course, Dr. Ing hisself, talk-ing and sing-ing! It was a very -Ing Day! There were many other -ing things happening too. As you shall see. Because you know you care. You do.

So! The pup had a dentist appointment this morning – the next to the last one for some corrective work, and then we’re done until she loses some teeth, finds some others, and we start the lovely orthadontal stages of her poor life. The pup has a very small mouth – loud! but small – and thus has very little room. So, where there was a tooth extracted, today we needed to put a cap on one to hold a spacer bar in place so she didn’t lose (anymore) spacing that’s waiting for a grown up tooth to come in.

Oh man though. The Wobble-ing! And the fall-ing!

Dr. Ing is very good with kids, and talked her through everything, gave her a sedative, and laughing gas, and she didn’t even feel the novicaine and afterwards said that it didn’t hurt at all. The sedative, however, oh! the laughter as I watched her. She got all knock-kneed and relaxed and figgity and squirmy, then like a limp noodle. *L* When all was said and done, I had to practically carry her out – though she insisted she was walk-ing!

She has a lovely fat lip, though, because she keeps tugging on it
“I CANT FEEL THIS!”
“Yes, dear, I’m so proud. Now stoppit!”

Her eyes are starting to clear, and she’s come back to the land of the live-ing, and sober. *L* But man – there for a bit? she was one seriously wasted pup. *g* and i spent the morning laugh-ing!

And picture take-ing of course!

Today, today I was treated to a saranade, quite unintentional, by a Dentist.
