I just… want it to all be over, you know? I want things to be all wrapped up and paid for and done with so that I can just… move on and decide if I’m going to persue lawyers and the like or not. But things just ain’t working out that way, not at all.

I finally got through to someone from the insurance agency bank who dealt with Kevin’s insurance and have it in an account for me. I’ve gotten a statement and a promise letter that my checkbook/passbook whatever is on it’s way. That was back in December. The letter was dated the 12th, and well, I never saw the check/pass/draftbook. So I get through to someone today – and they’re all “well, we sent it on the 13th!”

Now he was a really nice guy and all, but man. He verifies the mailing address.. “And that’s in ken…ay?” Keen-eye. “Yeah, Arkansas.”

No. ALASKA. AK is ALASKA not ARFUCKINSAS!

You would think that they would TEACH these people their states and abriviations. It’s not that freaking hard! AK – Alaska. AZ – Arizona. AR – Arkansas.

I remember one year in gradeschool they had to retake all our pictures for free because they sent them – and subsequently lost them – to Arkansas. Iijits!

So anyway, he apologizes, doesn’t know what happened to it or where it’s at, and says they’ll send a replacement right away. The goodnews? “Well, there’s been no activity on your account, so all your insurance money is there.” Oh yay! That’s good! OMFG. Then. THEN he was all “I’m going to express 3day mail it to you – and try and get them to waive the express mailing fee.”

TRY to waive the fee? for THEIR mistake? omg. So it may COST me money in order to GET my money so I can pay off all the bills, etc! Needless to say, as SOON as I get that draft book, I’m moving the money out and getting it set up into accounts that my dad will set up with better interest and control, etc. No way in HELL am I leaving this one open with some mysterious passbook out there somewhere. I wasn’t going to anyway, but now it’s like imparative that I get it, or I lose all the financial stability that it can give me. It’s not like it’s a whole lot, but it’s more then we had and it’s paying his medical bills, and getting us set up with an emergancy fund. God. If I could have reached through the phone and strangled him, I would have. It’s taken me till now to write it out because the more I thought about it the more irritated I got!

Bloody IIJITS i swear!

And soon as the whole w-2’s and shit arrive in the mail, I have to figure out how to file my taxes this year too. UGH. And on top of all that it’s January. And February. And typically, i am at my lowest during these two months anyway – all the dark, and cold, and ready for winter to be over, so on and so forth. Gotta keep myself busy, and just thinking of other things, else I crawl into a hole until spring. It sucks, really really sucks.

[Don’t worry mom – i’m doing ok. just in a UGH! DAMMIT! mood.]

Man.
