But well. Heh. I never really managed the write part, just the sit down part. Then the lay down “I’m so tired I can’t THINK or MOVE” part. And the sleeping part! I was real good at the sleeping part! Yeah baby!

So, as you can see down there a bit, I reaquainted myself with The Magic Coffee Machine ™ Which I took pictures of just for you. Really. It’s not so I can look at it longingly or nothing. Cuz I’m not addicted to CoffeeOnDemand, really. Stop laughing. I’m not! Sheesh! (oh! how I miss thee, MCM(tm)!

ANYWAY!
The drive up was beautimous, dry, ice free roads and fast travel. Legally fast, of course, I’m not a speed demon. Really. Sheesh – again with the laughing! I arrived in plenty of time to get to the <strike>MCM(tm)</strike> bed n breakfast and settle in. I even got a little bit of a nap before heading to class.

Oy. That class! Someone dad knows likened it to “taking a drink from a firehose” and he sure wasn’t kidding! The teacher, Jim, was a hoot n a half, and a force of constant movement. He breezed in dragging his case of books and looked right at me:

“You Lessa from Kenai?”
“Yessir, that’d be me.”
“GOOD! We can have class then. They done tol’ me, if that Lessa from Kenai shows up again, you have class no matter what!”

Heh. Apparently, my raising a stink last time had an effect on the Anchorage Office. Good, they need shaking up every now and again. And when there is a bargain struck, and I hold up my end of it, I expect the same from those who made the agreement with me.
The class itself was just a MINDDUMP of information. It was like he’d open our skulls and just started POURING the information in. I know it’s all in there soemwhere, now I have the next two weeks to study on my own to access the informtion in order to pass the State Insurance Exam. I’m fairly confident, though a panic-y fairly confident if you know what I mean. Even now as I write this there are words that trigger responses from me. (ie: Agreement – equals Contract+Premium which brings up several other responses too in a virtual waterfall…) I just hope I can keep it all in there and retain it all until I take the exam on the 8th. Passing it the first time will make me very, very happy. Failing it the first time will make me …. just like everyone else. *LOL* (and here is where I DUCK as nana moosie takes a swing at me….)

There was a spot of excitement this weekend too, as my car just STOPPED WORKING in the middle of one of the busiest roads in Anchorage. Fortunately my “boyfriend” was working nearby and came to rescue me. Soon as he touched the car it started, and I’ve not had a problem with it again since. Harumph. Clearly the Jeep missed him too!

I also took him out to dinner on Sunday night after the last class, as he’d had his birthday while up there working. We ate at Applebees – a first for me, and QUITE yummy! With that and all the AMAZING breakfasts at the BnB – I’m sure I gained 129312038120 pounds this weekend, though possibly worked off the same with the sheer brain power necessary to survive the weekend class. *L*

After that, I was able to enjoy my last evening, visiting the MCM(tm) then curling up in the comfy bed, with 7 (SEVEN!) pillows and comforter and the remote ALL TO MYSELF and watched the season finale of The L-Word. Happy Lessa! Then, before leaving town, I indulged in my obsession with New Book Smell and spent too much money at Barnes and Noble, but didn’t care because New! Book! Smell! Whee! Course, I can’t read any of them yet, as I’m spending every spare moment studying, but well, whatcha gonna do? How could I resist?

Then I drove home, which was again a beautiful ride. I took some mountian pass pictures from different areas then before, and will upload them soon…ish. Then home to fill out paperwork for a meeting with dad, home to reaffirm to my kiddos that I still existed, to a meeting, then home to collapse. Is it any wonder I waited till now to post? Busy busy.

Today was spent studying, then a meeting, then some actual design work (gasp!) which will need serious working on tomorrow in preparation of another client meeting and the boy has a dentist appointment and I’m to take my Ladybug to her soccar practice after that! Whew! And SOMEWHERE in there I must study n study n study n study. I’ve got chapter 5 down COLD. There’s only….17 others plus the state laws to memorize before the 8th. No problem, right?

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.

SO, I meant to sit down and write something yesterday when I got home? But well. Heh.
