So – I haven’t forgotten the picture requests – I told ya I hadn’t, you believed me right? Well! Blyght<\/a> asked for “The color of happiness and joy” and I’ve been trying to get the kids to sit still ever since so I could capture them the way i *wanted* too. Heh. Easier said then done!
\nThere is nothing that makes me happier or fills me with more joy then my kids – and knowing gorgeous eyes, all colored the same shockingly blue as my own… well, that makes me extra happy too.<\/p>\n

Even when they’re being pains in the arse when I *want* them in pictures, but dive INTO them REPEATEDLY when I *don’t* want them in a picture… *L*<\/p>\n

I’m still thinking of AkMotleyGirl’s request, though I think the following vids kinda work. She wanted a picture of “Love or Magic (or both!)” And naturally my kids are magic to me, and they have the magic ability to make me laugh, and I love watching them grow and seeing SO! Much! Attitude! and knowing they come by it Oh so natural (…from their Auntie Ladybug. and Nana Moosie. and Papa Moosie. and their dad. Yeah. not me! I’m the GOOD DAUGHTER!) and well. *L* I declare that the magic of my having given birth to such awesome kids, and how much I love them totally qualifies for AkMotleyGirl’s request. As proof, I submit the following Videos taken tonight at Cold Stone Creamery where Nana treated us all to nummy ice cream!<\/p>\n

First – the pup, who would have stood there waiting for me to take the picture forEVER had not her sister narked on my using video….<\/p>\n

Next – the girl, who just… is SO MUCH ME that it’s not even funny… the facial expressions, the rolling of her eyes, the snarky lil commentary.. oh! I am SO PROUD!<\/p>\n

And finally – the boy… who was caught doing something on Auntie Ladybug’s camera, and naturally, it cracked me the hell up, as does the following exchange…<\/p>\n

In OTHER news! The Girl made Allstars! WHOO! which means I have 3 more weeks of little league… CRAP. *L* And her tourney is in Knik (which… supposedly.. is near Anchorage) and its a WEEK LONG… and now I’m all “GAH” about it. But she’s very excited, and therefore so am I.<\/p>\n

\nWHOOOHOOO! *Grin* see?<\/p>\n

The kids have handled the loss of DD better then expected, and I’m really proud of them. It feels empty here – even when she was hiding, I always knew DD was around yannow? and now it’s different. Unexplainable, but real none the less. But the kids’re doing ok, and for that I am grateful.<\/p>\n

Sacha is still hanging on – she feels much better with the meds she’s on, and has some of her happy golucky self back. Though she is dropping weight and eating everything in sight all at the same time. heh. It’s hard to know she won’t hang on much longer, but at the same time, we’re grateful for every moment we have with her. The kids are taking her on walks as long as she wants to walk, and we’ve decided the neighbors can hang if they don’t like her being out when she wants out no matter what time it is. She’s the queen of this castle for her remaining days – something she feels she quite rightly deserves anyway. *L*<\/p>\n
