Yes. I still take pictures of my kids on the first day of school every year. Yes, I’m fully aware they will shoot me for this when they start dating and I break them out to embarass them with. MUHAHAHAHA.<\/p>\n

Ahem.<\/p>\n

And yes – I was up before my mom pinged me on MSN to see if I was up. She asked if the boy was – my reply? “Well. He’s dressed, and on the couch. ‘Up’ might be a stretch.” *chuckles*<\/p>\n

Mr. McGrumpy Pants. The saddest thing about this picture is I didn’t do anything other then bend my head towards him. He’s really that close to matching me in height. *sigh* Another couple inches and he’ll have bested me in that area. My little baby. *Sniff*

\nHis highly annoyed mom will you STOP already<\/strike> longsuffering grin is ever so amusing though, isn’t it. heh.<\/p>\n

And then there’s this one. We’ll call her McHappyPants today as she sports the new jeans gma and papa picked out for her.

\n Who woke up [ON HER OWN] smiling. Who wouldn’t let me see her outfit until it was ALL TOGETHER. So much so she hid behind my desk when asking for the brush.<\/p>\n

She actually brushed her hair.<\/p>\n

Her outfit is perfectly coordinated from the top of her denim bandanna to the tips of her chunky heeled boots that boosted her another two inches taller.<\/p>\n

O.M.F.G. I’m in so much trouble with this one. Oy.

And of course, my little hellion<\/strike>angel, McPup, who doesn’t start school until next week. She has her accessment with her teacher today at 1pm, which makes her a little bit easier about letting the kids go off to school. Of course, I simply didn’t wake her up when I drug the boy<\/strike> other two out of bed.

And now? I’m back to sleep until said sleepy pup wakes up to demand her breakfast – which no matter WHAT she tells you, mom, i do TOO feed her.<\/p>\n

Well, the pup has given her teacher a preview of what’s to come. I wonder if she can get her retirement pushed through before monday? *L* The accessment went well. The pup is smart as the dickens, although sneaky and brattier then shit too. *shakes head* It went something like this:<\/p>\n

Mrs. B: Ok, I’m going to say a word, and you tell me which picture fits it.
\nPup: Ok.<\/p>\n

all’s well for a while, the pup picking out the right picture over and over and over…. then. The fatal mistake.<\/p>\n

Pup: whoops! I meant that one!
\nMrs. B: That’s ok, you can change your answer if you want too.<\/p>\n

dundunDUN…. after that it went this way.<\/p>\n

Pup: I want this one to be furry.
\nMrs. B: Well which one is really furry…
\nPup: that one, but I want this one to be. I changed it.<\/p>\n

And me? I just laaaaaaaaughed. Quietly. Because I knew after that, all bets were off.<\/p>\n

So we move to some blocks and counting type skills.<\/p>\n

Mrs. B: Good job counting! Now, here’s another block [shows 6 blocks] how can you divide those so that we have the same amount?
\nPup: *divides* There.
\nMrs. B: Good, now how do you know that’s right? Why did you divide them that way?
\nPup: Because I just know.
\nMrs. B: Good – but how do you know..
\nPup: Because I’m just really<\/i> smart!
\nMrs. B:…… yes, you are, but
\nPUp: beCAUUUUUUUUUUUUSE onetwothreeonetwothree! sheesh!
\nMrs. B: exactly right.<\/p>\n

Me: snickering quietly and just hiding in the corner….<\/p>\n

And so it went on and on like that, the pup doing her best to outsmart Mrs. B, and Mrs B – who deals really well with kids, but not so good with adults? actually looking at me and chuckling a bit in between activities. When she asked for any numbers, the pup would give her letters, when she asked for letters, the pup said numbers, then pointed out all the letters in her name, and then…<\/p>\n

Mrs. B: Do you know your whole name?
\nPup: JessiAnna Dove M………
\nMrs. B: Good. Do you know your mom’s name?
\nPup: Mom.
\nMrs. B: her whole name?
\nPup: Lessa
\nMrs. B: What’s her last name?
\nPup: I dunno. MOM!!! WHATS YOUR LAST NAME?
\nMe: *snickering still*
\nMrs. B: Ok, well, how about your dad’s whole name.
\nPup: Kevin M_____
\nMrs. B: So do your mom and dad have the same last name?
\nPup: Yes.
\nMrs. B: and that is?
\nPup: Well, dad’s is M____ but I don’t know mom’s!<\/p>\n

Me: almost in TEARS by this time. Still hiding of course, barely containing my laughter. This is stuff I deal with EVERY DAY ALL DAY…. I can’t wait till Monday! MUAHAHAHAHH!<\/p>\n
