Maybe they&#8217;re out of ideas. Or maybe, they&#8217;re a bit pissy about the whole moving to Lifetime thing. Who can tell? Either way &#8211; either you&#8217;re in, or you&#8217;re out!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/realitydaze.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/07\/prtitle.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/realitydaze.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/07\/prtitle.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"prtitle\" width=\"500\" height=\"102\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-989\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>16 new designers this year, and they&#8217;re a properly freakish bunch with overinflated ideas about how fantastic they are. It&#8217;s gonna be a great year! Hahah! They revisit a challenge from the very first season, and the always lovely Austin Scarlett is there to guest judge &#8211; assuming he can see through all his makeup. They go shopping in a grocery store, and I&#8217;m all excited about some inovative stuff but&#8230; they lack serious vision as far too many grab the table cloths. BORING. Tim Gunn tells them how disappointed he is, and I cheer. Of course, Tim Gunn walks into a room and I cheer, but whatever.<\/p>\n<p>So Stella makes a garbage bag dress, piecing it together at the last minute while bemoaning how she&#8217;s going home (&#8230;confident much?) and Blayne pieces together a very odd and kind of scary looking bathing suit of oven mitts and things, and Jerry Tam makes a rain coat &#8211; an UGLY raincoat &#8211; out of a shower curtain.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/realitydaze.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/07\/pr5-1_inout.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/realitydaze.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/07\/pr5-1_inout.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"pr5-1_inout\" width=\"500\" height=\"358\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-990\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Korto saves her table cloth with some produce neckline, Daniel makes a completely awesomely fitted dress out of pastic cups, and Kelli rocks a cute and creatively dyed dress of vacuum bags and coffee filters &#8211; Kelli come out on top, and Jerry is sent packing with his fugly coat.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Without much fanfair this year &#8211; usually they&#8217;re shoving PR down our throats for weeks, but this time, it was a little understated.
