Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaappy New year toooooooooooo me!

Yes. Drastic mood swing from last entry, hm? Asshole’s still being an ass – but if his boss were here right this minute I’d….. I’d…. i’d KISS him right under the old dangling mistletoe! Yup. That’s what I’d do. Pucker up and lay a big ole sloppy one on him….

Why? WHY? Why you ask? Well! Because…. when the asshole goes back tomorrow… and for the next five, yes! FIVE! hitches… he won’t be working 3 weeks on, 2 weeks off…. he’ll be working 3 and 1…. that’s like – from now until MAY! we’ll be getting an extra paycheck a month.

Oh thank thank thank THANK YOU BILL!

Draw back is the next 3 after that we’ll be working 2 and 2, which shorts us – but by that time I should be well caught up and in the clear because not only do we have these extra weeks coming, but also the tax refunds too. And then after that it’s back to 3 and 2’s again, back to normal. HEEEEEEE!

OMFG. You cannot BELIEVE how relieved I am now. Granted, he has to have some of it for the hunting trip he’s planning in August, which is fine. I’ll make sure he has his. But by god… the rest of it is mine to do whatever I need to do with it (aka – catch up on bills! omfg. I would KISS him, I swear!!!)

Asshole, of course, is totally bitching about it, wishing he could say no, but knowing that he couldn’t say no to the boss (i didn’t even have to pressure him, and I’m being REALLY GOOD about not gloating happily to his face. I waited until he went out into the ManSpace and everything and I’m still not gloating out loud, just in here…

but oh, the smug little happy smile. Not only is it extra money? But it cuts down his days off to where it’s almost bareable! He’ll be sleeping the first couple days, a pain for a day or two, then GONE – instead of like now, when by the end of the 2 weeks I’m ready to KILL him. I so needed this break….
