My kids wouldn’t let me ignore valentines day completely – the pup picked out this bouquet with her aunties help – had to have a blue rose cuz “blue n green are momma’s favorite colors!”

All together now… awwwwwww..

She also picked out those pinkish flowers at the bottom middle, because they had the sage green tips – because they matched my hair. Awesome!

They also got me socks, and a card. And the boy – who hasn’t gotten a valentine from school since they stopped being mandatory in 5th grade? got not one, but TWO anonymous valentines hearts at school today! He’s quite pleased with hisself!

And last but least – I hadn’t updated about this, but THATBOY who was all about TheGirl – he apparently asked someone else out and dumped her. Harumph. She’s cool with it though, says if he could be swayed away that easily, that quickly, he wasn’t worth it anyway. I’m so proud!

Now – back to the olympics! huzzah!
