I have the cutest smartest nephews EVER…

…especially the youngest one. (Though I love them all! equally!)

Maybe it’s because he’s the baby, or maybe because he’s smarter then all us put together, or maybe it’s just cuz he’s outright adorable and I’m completely smitten in every way – but the buglet cracks me the hell up. Case in point:

How many two year olds do YOU know would have put the following together? I have a camping plate that’s a green speckled metal and maybe he’s seen someone who has pots and pans that look like that, but he decided that it was ‘hot’. How do I know? He carefully carried it to me (there was nothing on it) and then with an impish grin went “Oh! hot hot hto hot! ow! hot! hot! ow!” while bouncing it in his hands. So me, being the ever doting auntie, grabbed it and bounced it and ‘burned’ my fingers. “oh! HOT! OW OW! HOT!” and he just cracked UP.

For two hours. “hahah. Hot! Auntie Hot! Hahahah!”

Little shit was playing ‘jokes’ on his Auntie. Then, when he decided he’d had enough play with the plate (after my bouncing the ‘hot’ chips on it too – the same chips he had for breakfast because who wants to eat what momma brings when auntie’ll give him whatever he wants) he went to put it away in the kitchen. Now usually that means throwing it into my sink, risking breaking whatever is already there. This time, however, he OH SO CAREFULY…

…put it in the oven. “hot! ow! HAHAHA!”

Then we spent time searching for the ‘dinosaur’ that was on Seseme street. It kept appearing at the top of the screen, looking in, just head and neck. So naturally, everytime the street would shake with his arrival, Buglet was all “COMING! he COMING!” and then stare at the ceiling. And I’d stare at the ceiling. And after a minute I’d say “He there?” and he’d say “No. all gone.” and then we’d be able to watch more Seseme St. together. Until, of course “Coming! he COMING!”

Yeah – so I’m as easily amused as he is… what EXACTLY is your point??

In other news – Moo Minis from Moo Media and Flickr? ARE SO FREAKIN CUTE! Seriously! My freebie pack came in today and I’m all thrilled and giddy bout them. So! Cool! [Again – easily. amused.] See?!?
