DWTS: Surprise Elmination in week three!

Posted by Lessa on October 8, 2009 in DWTS, rd |

This week is one of the best – the sexiest dances are performed: The romantic Rumba, and the Sexy Salsa! We even saw the first 10s of the season! There were two of them, both for Mya and Dmitry’s rumba from Carrie Ann and Bruno, though Len brought them down to a total of 27 with a mediocre 7. OOOOOOOOH the BOOING!

Len must have needed some fiber or something, as he also gave out two 4s and a bunch of 5s and was consistently the lowest score all night long.

My favorite dance though had to be Chelsie and Louie who’s chemistry was undeniable! I’ve loved Chelsie since SYTYCD so it was nice to see her really sizzle with a partner once again.

But NO ONE is as cute as the Chairman, Mark! They could not have gotten him a better partner than Lacey (another favorite of mine from SYTYCD) Not my favorite dance of the evening, but still, they’re adorable!

The pup, a swimmer, is unsurprisingly rooting for Natalie Coughlin and her partner Alec. And there’s a lot to root for with this Rumba too!

At the end of the evening, the top three scores were:

Mya & Dmitry: 27
Natalie & Alec: 26
Joanna & Derek: 25

Which brings us right to the elimination show. Dancing with the Stars has often had a number of injuries as the Stars keep pushing themselves to do better and better, often resulting in injuries. Tom Delay had to pull from the competition this week due to stress fractures in his foot. Choosing not to discard the votes and judges scores, they opted to continue on and still eliminate the couple with the lowest score.

Unsurprisingly, after their rather safe and lackluster performance, Debi Mazar and Maks are sent home. And all of America Cried – not for losing Debi, but for losing Maks, of course. We shall miss our shirtless bad boy of the ballroom!

The judging, in my opinion. is so fake. One week Lenfusses because a celebrity gives a good entertaining performance instead of a correct dance performance and this week he applauds another celebrity for givinganentertaining performance. Can’t have it both ways Len.
