Catching up with some quick recaps! Hold on to your hats – here we go on a whirlwind of Biggest Loser!

BiggestLoser

Last week, they started off with a temptation challenge right of the bat – and it’s the table of spinning calories. Ali tells them that the teams are going to now be blue vs. black, and on the wheel of choices a winning spin means they choose the teams, and a losing spin could mean eating up to 1000 calories. Ouch. But they don’t have to spin – they can choose to sit out and not take the risk. Abby sits out and everyone else takes their chances.

Any guesses WHO gets the ticket? None other by crazy eyes, herself: Tracey. It’s a shock that worries everyone when she lands on the golden ticket, as they all fear losing their teammates and bonds with special trainers. Before she chooses, Jillian and Bob come in to discover Tracy’s in control once more – and Tracey chooses Bob. Jillian’s pretty sure Tracy is scared of her, and that dictated her decision. Then Tracey methodically upsets everyone on the Ranch by spitting up Liz and Danny, sending Amanda to Jillian’s team, knowing she had a bond with Bob, as well as splitting her up with Rebecca. She splits up Dina and Rudy too. Way to make friends, Tracy!

The stress is too much for Liz – she passes out on the treadmill! She says she’s fine when she regains consciousness, agreeing that her collapse was the result of a stressful week. Dina has a breakdown about jumping up on a platform, fighting with Jillian when she doesn’t trust herself to be able to do it. She takes a break, and Rudy talks with her, as she admits she’s too scared to believe in herself.

Bob takes the blue team on a field trip – it’s all aobut the grocery store and teaching them how to shop, starting in the deli where they pick up some meat to go with some vegies for a picnic.

Challenge time comes – and both teams meet at the top of a hill. They have to climb and spash through a mut pit, while carrying a platform holding one of their teammates at all times. They can switch places t any time, but someone has to be carried all the way. The winning team gets videos from home. Though it’s a close race, and the mud pit is extremely challenging, it’s the blue team that wins the videos from home. Dina is visibly upset, and Rebecca hands over her video and offers her the prize instead – Tissue Alert! – Dina ends up turning it down, but wears she’ll jump up on that damn platform, instead.

Everyone watches their videos – and it’s tears all around. liz goes to get Danny and invites him to watch her video with her – and is surprised to see it’s his own family, not Liz’s – and cue the tears again, this time due to Liz’s generosity in giving him a glimpse of home. Then it’s all about the last chance workout – and it’s brutal, as expected.

At the weighin – Shay’s16 pound weight loss pushes the black team to Victory, while Liz is immune on the Blue team for topping them all percentage wise. The blue team has to make a difficult decision – Tracy or Mo. For me it’d be easy, but that’s because I’m sick of Crazy Eyed Excuses. Tracy pleads her case though, saying she’s proved she wants to be there, while Mo asks them to send him home – his injury is getting in the way of his workouts, and he doesn’t want to drag the team down. They give him his wish, and Coach Mo is sent home.

At home – Coach Mo is down to 279 pounds, and going strong. He says the show saved his life, and has taken to teaching the kids he coaches about health and wellness too – serving as a good example to all the kids.
