Nano-in

So if anyone goes looking for this years Nano of mine, don’t be surprised to find that it’s been taken down.

I’ve finally begun the editing process, working things in and rearranging and taking things out and so on and so forth. I’m taking it a bit slow, spent about 3 hours today going through the prelude through chapter 3. Hopefully I’ll get a second draft done here in the next few weeks, and be able to move on to another (hopefully the final) revision.

After that – who knows. *L* I’m still not sure what genre that I’d call it, let alone where I’d start on the submission process. Babysteps though – one at a time. First to get through this bloody second draft. Already have added another 1200 words or so, and lost count of how many I’ve taken out and/or changed.

So if anyone wants to help mom beta read/edit and catch things I miss, from grammar to spelling, to storyline inconsistancies – drop me a comment and I’ll get in touch with you. Otherwise you have to wait until it’s published, since ya’ll are the ones demanding such things in the first place. MUHAHAHAH!

Things with the boy have settled down a bit, though with his father coming home on Monday, it’s likely to blow up agian at least once. heh. They’re all out on school break now, though, which leads me to panic. Asshole, all the kids, the idiot brother in law whom I’m still so pissed off at I want to clobber, his new girlfriend – all in the house for the next 2 weeks.

All I want for christmas is………. some peace and quiet, or at least a big enough bloody club I can DEMAND said peace and quiet. *L*
