Misc. Stuffs.
So – you KNOW you totally want some Graphic design and general education books, right? Of course you do. Check the glarringly white box at the side where I’m currently selling what books I have left (and pieces of my soul). I promise I’ll eventually have other random shit there, too. So yeah – some good books there, even for those not in Graphic Design.
In other random news – I had a shock the other morning! I couldn’t find my sandal, and mom was waiting for me in the driveway, so i grabbed the first pair of shoes i found and slid them on quickly and hopped out to the car….

..and realized that they were my SON’S shoes! you know, the ones he OUTGREW about 6 months ago… that I actually could wear, AND had ROOM “to grow” in! You know, I knew the boy had skies, and it just didn’t really hit me that when we bought his last pair of shoes that they equated to a ladies size BIGGER THEN MINE. Talk about shock. OMFG. It’s bad enough that he’s almost 13…. and only about 2 inches shorter then me…. now his FEET ARE BIGGER TOO?!? and don’t EVEN start telling me shit like “you know what they say about boys with big feet” because *slams hands over ears* LALALALALA I CAN’T HEAR YOU!!!!
*sob* Where’d my baby boy go?!?
So. Backtracking a bit. We spent New Years Day at mom’s and shared traditional dinner of pork and sourcrout. Nummy! It was the first time the kids had been subjected to the sourcourt, actually, as there was always something else they’d have instead. This year we told them they had to at least TRY it… and eat all of the little bit I’d put on their plate. *snickers* Oh. the faces. The grimaces. The squinched up little eyes and gagging motions followed by mass consumption of juice….
It was so worth it. Sometimes being a “mean” mom? Rocks harder then anything else in the WHOLE WIDE WORLD. Of course, the looks were only the older two. The pup? Couldn’t stop shoveling long enough to get a picture! She ate it all and had seconds!

And then there’s my favorite picture of papa, a good one of gramma and a couple more of papa cuddling/playing with the pup…

Back to today: was woken up by the phone this morning, and Auntie Ladybug in a panic needed me to sit for the buglet and the diva while she went to an appointment. So I spent the morning over there, being dissed by the diva who wanted her Auntie ladybug and not Auntie Lessa (harumph)

and ignored by the sleeping buglet who didn’t wake up until right before I left. Fortunately he gave plenty of cuddles before I walked out the door, so all’s well that ends well. The Diva even smiled at me once before I had to put her in bed for a nap – at which time I became the worst person and vile torturer again. heh. *chuckles*
And that, me friends, is that. For now. Tomorrow my book should be here and I? Will be READING! WHOOT!
*bounces*
