Step it up and Dance – Winner!
Finally, last night was the night the dancers got to show us their individual style and choreographing skills by dancing their solos – but first… they had to throw in another challenge for them, a group number Sex and the City style. Moochi owned the stage and the boys were backup dancers and it showed, netting Moochi a spot in an upcoming music video with her win. Nice!
Miguel strained his ankle during practice, and I winced for him when it happened. He decided to power through it though, and dance anyway. His solo was classic Miguel, and well, to be honest I wasn’t entirely impressed. Moochi was stunningly beautiful and powerful through her solo – that woman is dynamite in a tiny package for sure! Nick was just pure fun on stage! He definitely has Broadway potential and he was a joy to watch.
Then there’s Cody. Is ANYONE surprised by the final verdict? They beat him up so much during the show – be more emotional, don’t be cold, you’re a snob, give me more, more, more, more – that it was destined for him to pull out the win. His solo was beautiful, and warm and emotional, but I knew he had it in the bag before he even danced. There was just no other way for it to go.
