Picture Perfect

Look! No Redeye! now if I can just remember what setting I used to accomplish such a feat. *L* What I really want to know, however, is just *When* she grew up so much? What happened to my little baby girl, with baby chubby cheeks and adorable lisp and stilted sentenses and and and…. Who is this child that’s replaced her, with “Kid” ideals and full sentense composition and no more baby in her face at all? Sigh. This parenting job – heartbreaking, I swear.
I spent the evening sans kids last night – the older two were invited on a hay maze adventure at one of the local camp grounds [they make a HUGE hay bale maze in the barn – completely dark and spooooky I was told] and then a Youth Group party with Ms. Cherry. They had a blast! Came home all bubbling and talking over one another. Ms. Cherry is just a big kid herself, and she really bonds well with the younger set. The pup was disappointed that she didn’t get to go, so she convinced Auntie Ladybug that she should get to go over there and play for a while. As a result I got a phone call from Gramma “Someone is kidnapping your youngest” to which i replied YAHOO!! and locked my doors. Heh.heh.heh.
So what did I do with my evening? Um. Worked. *L* I have a new client who needs packaging design, and I finally got my idea for the icon on paper (so to speak) and I’m really rather pleased with the result. Hopefully he will be to. I have to put together the rest of the package design, and we’ll be in business, I believe. I’ve a website to put together today, and and some general updates for my other sites as well. Busy busy bee.
Which is good, because that little tiny puppy of mine decided it’d be fun to bust that harness I bought her that we hoped would last longer then a regular collar. Damn dog. So I’ve ordered another new one after consulting with TBF and hopefully this one will last longer still. Otherwise, I’ll be taking out stock in a collar company in hopes of making some of my money back. *L*
That rain outside looks suspiciously like there’s some of that S-word mixed in with it…
Today’s Movie Reviews!
Nothing – this? was interesting. and made us giggle. and weird. but funny. in that giggling kinda way.
Hostage – Typical Bruce Willace hero movie, but good none the less.
life aquatic – omfg. do. not. bother. UGH.
Open Water – it was interesting, long, but I did keep holding out hope for the happy ending that I didn’t get.
Mindhunters – Oooooh. they killed of Christian Slater! now what movie wouldn’t be perfect with THAT thrown into the first 30 minutes? hahah! This one was actually pretty good. gruesome, and disgusting, and amusing, and well, I actually did keep guessing until the end so it was all good. *g*
Cinderella Story – [shut up.] It’s cute, and has a moral too! THis one, obviously, was for the girls.
The Snurks – Funny and cute, wonder why i’d never heard of it?
Appleseed – the boy is loving this. psp game type graphics/animation, if a typical storyline. It hasn’t made me want to throw things through the screen yet, so that’s a plus.
And there you have it. Short, sweet and to the point.
In other news – the Kenai Little League WILL have a 2006 season! Momma Moose’s letter to the Editor was mentioned more then once as being instrumental to getting the 25-30 people in attendance there. WTG momma moose! All the important board positions were filled, all but one of the minor positions which can be filled throughout the year are already spoken for – much more then we had last year even! So things are looking up and that is fantastic. Though, Coach Jay keeps eyeing me and saying he’s got a job for me and I keep running away. I know what he wants – he so loved the posters I made up of the girl’s and boy’s team last year, that he wants me to do one for EVERY team. HAHAHAHAHAH! omg. Which, of course, I will. But not for free.
Means I need to get lots of practice on my new camera before then, of course, AND i’m officially putting a tripod on my christmas request list. *L* And batteries. And memory cards.
And that rain is looking whiter and whiter.. still too wet to stick [edit: I lied – it seems to be sticking a bit now too. heh.], but it is *definitely* white. Man oh man. I must get the kids their snowboots this weekend, methinks.

And. The paperwork arrived, thus I believe I should have Kevin’s death certificate within a week or so, and finally be able to get things cleared up with the insurance and house payment, etc. While it’s a relief to have it official, there were some things there I didn’t know as well. I sat on it for almost a week to asimulate it, and now I’ve still some decisions to make. I’m not sure what I’ll do. Or if there is anything to do. I don’t know. I’m still just. thinking.
