The Girl spend this afternoon in a female rite of passage – no, not THAT one, but one even BIGGER then that: The First Perm.

After spending the weekend with Auntie D. last week, she came home in girly glory after manicures and pedicures and baths with smelly stuff and lotions and handmedowns from Auntie’s closet and makeup AND 1.5 hours curling her hair into lucious glory….. oh my. The girlishness was in FULL swing. So we talked and I said I’d call Miss A. and see how much it’d be to get a perm and when we could get it done.

So today, we went from beautiful to FABULOUS in just 2.5 hours.

And this time it’ll last much longer then just until she showers. heh. She can’t stop smiling – and that is definitely a good sign. *Grin*

And trust me – to see THAT smile, THAT big, ALL the time? I’d pay any amount of money.
