swag

Posted by Lessa on December 2, 2005 in this-n-that |

Every year the KMS 6th grade class takes orders for, and constructs christmas swags. The kids love to make them, spend a whole school day assembling and delivering them – they’re designed to hang over the door. Well, I never by one. Bad Lesa. *L* The girl tried to sell me one, but I didn’t give (mean momma). Then, today, I found one sitting on top of my car hood. Apparently one of our neighbors (most likely) had bought one, but decided that I needed it on my door instead. So there it is! Thanks, whomever ya were!

IN other news, The pup’s lip looks much better, though she chewed up the inside of it pretty well. But it’s not near as swollen and while her gums are “achey” she says, she’s doing fine with the new cap and spacer.

Speaking the kids – OH! they make me laugh. *Chuckles* just yesterday, the pup and I were having that “no, i love YOU MORE!” argument, and she pops off out of the blue with “Fine! We both win! let us shake our BOOTY’s NOW!” and started dancing around wildly… I about spit out my DC everywhere.

And the boy? We were in the car, and the pup askes me if I’m going to go out and get them a new dad. I assured her that 1. no one could ever live up to their daddy, and two, I had no intention of looking at all at this point. The boy heaves this HUGE sigh of relief and says “Whew, thank god! I’ll be busy enough beating the crap outa guys who want to date my sisters! I won’t have enough time to worry about guys OOGLING my MOM!!!” Again – Mom? laughing!

And the girl, oh my girly girl. She makes me laugh daily too. Just today, she was working on her project, using mass amounts of duct tape. What do YOUR children do with duct tape? Well mine? She gags herself for fun. *L* SHe had her mouth taped for a while, and was making faces, and just generally being a goofball. I took pictures, but well, I think someone would likely go “GAH!” if I uploaded them. Suffice it to say – she’s decided that ripping off duct tape really fast, was not fun. But ripping off duct tape from her BROTHER really fast – now THAT was fun. Cue much mayhem and yes, laughter.

They say laughter is the best medicine – I’m damn lucky to have my kids. *g*

Let the boy know that he’s got back up. Between TBF and me – oh we have back up and more back up and well…then we have Joe! So he’s not alone in the “defending the women” task…..

ps. I got the LA weeklys and I got the page – just need to find a big enough envelope so they aren’t all folded up..*beams with pride* It looks AWESOME!
