Two girls Squee’ing!
In the mail today I got a gift! Sarah, my friend in LA, sent me a copy of the LA weekly ad that I did for Brett Hellings – all matted on cardboard and ready for hanging! SQUEE! it’s the first I’d seen it in print! I’m so HAPPY! Newsprint doesn’t photograph well, but here’s what I got! Whee!
Thank you SO much Sarah!
And then! The girl went to the fabric store with her aunt so that she could get some material for a project they are gonna do for the babies. And I get a call “Momma, I have enough money, I’ve been saving for a LONG TIME… and they have a starter sewing machine that I can get with my own money… can I???” And so I let her – because she has worked hard for it and I’m not gonna tell her how to spend her own money. And well, it made her smile like THIS:
I’m SO proud of her for choosing a goal, working toward it, and achieving it! I look forward to the many projects she’ll be whipping together in no time. *grins*
Though I wonder who’s child she is sometimes – I’m SO not a crafty girly girl. *LOL* But boy she makes her auntie ladybug crow with delight. *grin*

Mia has been wanting a sewing machine for the longest time. I think she is about halfway there.
Congrats to The Girl on a goal accomplished.
