NKOTB – New Kids on the Block

Or least – in our house. Heh. Behold, ze cuteness:

The older kids are home already (oh! the cooing!) and the pup’ll be here in 40 minutes or so, where the cooing will go up another notch. (..already increased by TheGirl’s best friends who are spending the night. *L*) Pictures of them to be added later, most likely. *L*

(details: Siblings, the only two born in the litter, 8 wks old, we *think* they’re both females, but they’ll be fixed in a month anyway. Cuddly little things, and fond of exploring. Currently working on their needed 21.5 hours of sleep a day. The kids – THRILLED. Me – Smitten. Heh.)

ETA: We have names – Annabelle (tan), and Ayesha (eye-ee-sha) (gray)

10/14 Update: After a trip to the vet, Ayesha was discovered to be a cross dresser – and really a male. Thus, he has become Ace. Good health, except for the earmites, and they’ve been vaccinated and fawned over by the vet staff. They also scratched the hell outa my boobs trying to climb out of my sweater – ouch.

When Ace received his shots – he whined. When Anna did, she was quiet. I said “ha! see, SHE didn’t whine” and the vet didn’t miss a beat in bonding with Ace “That’s cuz she’s a big stupid girl!”

Heh. Small town vets are the best. *g*
