Father’s Day
Understandably a rough day to end a rough week for me and the kids. Regardless, we had a good time with the family. Auntie Ladybug put on a brunchybreakfast spread that was nuuuuummy! The Girl made crepes, and my wee ladybug helped make the keylime pie and all the kids participated in making quite the feast!
TC, dad’s buddy, is still here, and after we ate put on a magic show for the kids. I remember him doing this when I was quite a bit younger, and it’s always a good time – fun to see it through my kids eyes, as well. They don’t really remember Daddy doing it when they were really young, but a lot of the tricks he did for free drinks at the bars came from TC last time he was up here.
Sacha seems to be feeling better – it’s hard knowing it’ll be shortlived, but good to see her up to her old tricks and happy for whatever time she has left. DD’s fur on her lower jaw is suddenly all white – I swear it’s like she woke up and decided “fuck fighting it, I’m old dammit!’ and decided to let herself go. I’m not sure she’ll hang on more then another week or so.
But anyway – thanks guys for the nummy feast and fun party! I’m off to sleep off my meal. But of course – there’s pictures! *g* oh – and one CAN’T MISS IT Video (1.7 mb) of my MOTHER… heehehehheheheheheheeee! (I’m laughing now, because i am SO DEAD. *L*)

Dad’s best friend is visiting us up here and loves to go Kareoke-ing… went with him tonight. He’s pretty good.
And I’m pretty drunk. It’s all his fault. *Grin*

Nana Moosie took a picture of the same clock, because well – we really only have one outdoor clock here in town. AND its brand new. *LOL* Check her site for what it looks like at noon, in the rain. Mine is at midnight (see the flash on the plastic), a different angle, and yes, it looks only twilightish because HELLO we live in ALASKA and it’s JUNE! *grin* and the plastic coverings is there because they are pouring the concrete base and sidewalk underneath and keeping the rain off so it would dry. So proof it’s two different pictures on two different days! *grin*
So yeah. there ya go.
And for the record – Mom TOTALLY Took and Posted her picture FIRST. She posted her’s yesterday, and I didn’t even take mine till last night. *grin*
