So here ya go – you think YOUR mosquito’s are big and bad? This bruise on my leg is a direct result of a mosquito bite – see the still red mark on the left side of the bruise. Ouch.

And yes, i do turn pretty colors and bruise easily – why do you ask? *L*

Bullet Points – somebunny shoot me!

• The cat seems to be on last legs, again. She is pissing in odd places (the back of my CHAIR! my gorgeous CHAIR! Thanks goodness for scotch guard, and quick thinking on the pup’s part to get her to the floor..) throwing up a bit, but is still drinking water, and eating. She’s old – 17 years old. I don’t think she’ll last much longer, but she doesn’t seem to be in real pain, just… slowing way down. So we’ll love on her and cuddle when she wants untl she lets go. Oy.
• Let the dog in last night – and stare at the side of her neck, and then call her over to examine said neck, and discover a lump the size of a golf ball, hardish but not painful. Up early to call the vet this morning, recommends heat packs until it softens, as it’s likely an absess due to eating grass (or any other number of stupid shit that canine vaccume cleaner ingests) and they can’t do anything until it softens, at which point they can drain it. Oh. Yummy. Have to watch for it to get bigger/get painful/get soft/ or disappear. Long as she’s eating/drinking, should be fine. Again. Oy.
• The Girl whimpers in her sleep, then cries, and then calls for mom. Complains of pain in her right side. No fever, not low enough to be apendicitis I don’t think. Have to watch for fever, sharp spikes in localized pain, etc. Probably is just a cramp from sleeping funny, but the way my luck is going….
• Thankfully, the pup is her normal boisterous self, and the boy is still sleeping. (Yes, it’s 11:30am, it’s summertime! and he’ll be up soon to babysit as I’ve got meetings today. heh.)
• My sinuses are all stuffed again. Dammit.
• So. How’s YOUR morning shaping up?
