The Cuteness!
Sometimes… the cuteness is TOO MUCH!
Today, obviously, I went to see the eye doc, for the first time since… oh… 2001 ish… and had the complete work up done and got some trial contact lenses to see if my eyes will behave with them. If they do, then the glasses I also got, will be backups. Stupid eyes. Cost a fortune they do – but it was quite worth it to hear the pup squeel “you got tonsink lenses!” all excitedly. Seriously – the child is TOO cute for words.
And yes, my eyes are *that* blue. No they are not colored contact lenses. Yes, i get asked that a lot when my eyes are not hidden behind glasses. *chuckles* Thank my momma, and her momma before her for the color. *g*
Stories of Sadness
Inspiration Challange: Stories of Sadness
—
August 26th, 2005, I lost my husband.
December 21st, 2005 would have been the start of our 15th year together.
March 14th, 2006, he would have been 34 years old.
April 10th, 2006, would have been our 13th wedding anniversary.
Somtimes, it’s all I can do to keep my own eyes open, however moist and tearfilled they may be.

Nancy
Niece of my heart, rather then by blood. A snarky, smiley, giggling, steady, strong redhead – all a teenage girl should be. I’m proud of you, kiddo. Specially every time you give bubba a heart attack.

Joan
Not many could put up with Bubba – I’m glad he found you. While we haven’t become the best of friends, I knew you were good for him. He loves you – that’s enough for me.

100 grand!
Well, Dad said that if I went to work with him, I’d make 100grand! Today he came through on that promise.heh.
And I got awarded my wee lil red umbrella too! Spiffy no?
So Moosie, Dorothy and I stole grampa’s “million dollah” box of candy at dinner in the airport restaurant and handed them out to people as they got off the airplane. hehehehehe.
We were all “welcome to kenai!”
they were all “uh…we live here.”
We were all “so do WE! awesome! Have 100grand!”
they were all “…..thanks….”
Then we ran cuz we ran outa candy and there were more people coming.
Hey – small town living – gotta make your OWN fun! I was just ‘spreading the wealth’!
