You are working my last nerve. Seriously. I don’t CARE if your almost 14 – that smart mouth of yours is going to be introduced to a virtual clue-by-four if your not careful. This does NOT give you reason to pick up ONE thing and declare the living room clean, at which time you promptly put said thing BACK ON THE FLOOR instead of away where it goes. And just because you are smaller then the other two does NOT mean you are HELPLESS. For crissakes get your own damn glass of water and quit bitching at the other two for ignoring your request! AND! Do Not yell at them for pushing YOUR feet off of THEIR legs. ALL OF YOU keep your damn appendages TO YOURSELF.
And if I hear “i’m not touching you! Stop! Leave me alone! I didn’t DO it!” one more time? I’m locking you ALL up in a barrel and feeding you through a small tube.

I FOUND THE OFF BUTTON!
It’s an often asked question – just WHERE is the Pup’s OFF button?!? Well! at least of a little while today, i FOUND it! Yes indeedy. I got me a birthday gift today – a portable dvd/cd player. Oh how I *heart* new toys! So I was showing it to the pup, and oooooooooh. Off button thus discovered – and documented for future use. Hee!
Yes. I know. Shame on me. But she was QUIET! This new toy of mine will have MANY lovely uses. Like watching the Fantastic 4 while the kids watch their anime. hee! Happy Momma!
And in other OTHER news – Today Gramma and I stopped by Bailey’s home furnishing, and I picked out my new couch and a big ole comfy chair. OH! how happy I am! It is BEAUTIFUL! A chocolate suade! It’ll be delivered on Tuesday at 3pm! happy happy joy joy! AND I spent less then I had planned on spending (thus my above happy birthday to me gift. hee!) so that made me even HAPPIER! WHEE!

My sweet Ladybug,
Well, you already know that you are my mostest favoritest neice ever! And I’d probably say that even if ya wasn’t my only one (blood related, anyway – we all know how your Auntie likes to adopt kiddos!) and even though your momma refused to have you on my birthday too. ONe day late! So close, yet oh, so far. I’ll never let your momma forget it either – though you know you’re one of the brightest loves of my life, and you know I love to spoil you rotten!
When your momma told me that you were on the way, I knew in my heart of hearts you were a girl. I rubbed your momma’s belly, and we giggled and talked to each other and I called you my Ladybug from day one. Momma wouldn’t find out for sure, but oh! I knew you were you!
When momma said that at LAST it was finally time – I raced to the hospital, as excited as everyone else. Momma was laboring fast and you were in such a hurry to get here! (I think you knew you were 24 hours late for a very important date!) You are still, to this day, the only baby I’ve gotten to see be born via ‘the normal way’ and most likely always will be. I was there as you took your first breath, and heard the exhaultant cries of “ITS A GIRL!” and was there to blubber and cry and laugh with your momma. One of my favorite pictures of us (that I don’t have handy at the moment) is as I leaned in close and held your wee little hand as you nursed with momma for the first time. You were so very beautiful – and I can say with absolute certainty that you only grow MORE beautiful each and every day!
I love to pick you up from school and sneak away to ‘donalds’ for some ‘chicky nuggies’ and fries! I love how you light up when I walk in the room, and how my heart near explodes everytime you smile at me! You are so very special, my lovely Ladybug, and I only hope that we are able to impart to you just how much you mean to us as you continue to grow.
I can hardly believe you’ve been with us already for 5 wonderful years! It’s an instant, and yet you’ve grown up so very much and surprise us every day with how smart you are!

birthday dinner
Mum n Dad took me out to Rosita’s for dinner tonight, where they sing happy birthday to ya in Spanish and make ya wear a silly hat too – the things i do for free ice cream! *L*
Then to Auntie’s house where the kids had a surprise party with cake n candles all ready for me!
And I got doublefudge brownie mix for The Girl to make, and foot scrubby stuff and soft socks to make my feets all soft (course, the GIRL will have to teach me how to be all girly and use it!) and oreos and a cake and cards, and a $25 gift certificate from the Pup to get whatever I wanna get and a book and a MAGNETIC BOOKMARK that’s VERY cool from gramma. Whee!
The pup – who can NEVER keep a secret? did! for a WHOLE WEEK!
