Big Candle
My submission for this week’s Photo hunt: Big Candle – extra point for being lit, extra point for not being red or green.
The Girl’s AK Map
What – what would YOU make an Alaskan map out of when challenged to make it edible? The Girl and Auntie Ladybug spent TEN HOURS today putting this masterpiece together. Pretty awesome I’d say! Chocolate Cake, and various icing colors, plus toothpick markers. Awesome.
It might not make it to school tomorrow. Yuuuuuuum!
HE DID IT AGAIN!!!
ACK! Ok – so remember back a couple weeks ago when I mentioned TBF bragged to JASON BEAM about me? Huh? do ya? Well! APPARENTLY, tbf found it absoLUTEly necessary to send my blushingly bragging post about his bragging to the one that we mutually bragged to and about!
Yes! he sent the post to JASON BEAM (PEOPLE! this is JASON BEAM!) And! thus – we have the following conversation (started a little earlier because the STRONGNESS of the tequilia just adds to the story. *L*)
[23:49] me: *finally braves a taste of that homemade tequilia and with a teeny taste – eyes WATER and lip does that automatic lip curl thing and holy HELL…*
[23:50] TBF: WHHOOOOOOO!
[23:50] me: Lord’ave’mercy. That’s some… Stout shit. *L*
[23:50] TBF: I’ll BET
[23:50] me: one where ya taste it on the left side of your mouth and the right side is actively trying to RUN AWAY. *LMAO*
[00:14] TBF: *DIES*
[00:16] TBF: did i ever tell you i showed jason what you wrote in your blog?
[00:20] me: …ack! no! *L*
[00:20] TBF: man, must be some goooood shit, cuz I felt that gulp *LMFAO*
[00:21] me: it IS! but… but… GULP! *L*
[00:21] TBF: *just HOWLING*
[00:21] TBF: yeh, sent an excerpt of that little braggin’ entry *chuckle*
[00:22] me: oh lordy *LMAO* what did he say? Aside from “my god – she’s NUTS” *L*
[00:23] TBF: Her blog entry was funny and flattering tell her thank you for the praise,
I very much appreciate it.
cnp quote *L*
[00:24] me: He thinks i’m FUNNY! WHOOT! (which could be a nice way to say – man. she’s nuts!) but yay! *blushes furiously* if ya need me, I’ll be over HERE blushing like mad! *L*
[00:25] TBF: *DIES*
[00:27] me: *scuffs toe n grins*
[00:42] TBF: *just chuckling*
[00:42] me: your enjoying this arent you… *L*
[00:43] me: *blushes n stuff*
[00:47] TBF: every. friggen. second. *L*
And yes – I’m fully aware he’ll likely send this off to Jason Beam (did I mention Jason Beam thinks I’m funny? HEE!) again, and that I shall likely be blushing like MAD again – but well. He’s BRAGGING about me to JASON BEAM!
Who thinks I’m funny.
Did I mention how much I love him? (TBF, of course. And naturally, JASON BEAM too!)
(Oh shut up. I’m blaming the gushing on the tequilia. *L*)
Christmas Gift
Whoo! My first gift of the year – A container filled with my favorite candy, and a bottle of homemade Tequilia! MUHHAHAHAH! Thanks Christopher! He’s the Darlin’ One’s hubby, and just the good sorta guy to have around. *g*
I mean really! You gotta love a guy who will go through my whole 100 things list and journal and outa all that drival actually REMEMBER my favorite candy (he already knew my fave drink. heh. Oh the stories!) and give me a container fulla reeses for christmas! *MWAH*
Spent the evening at the Darlin household for the Diva’s 2nd birthday. OH! but she was adorable in her little princess dress, and she’s certainly got the whole opening presents and shredding paper thing down! She’s a very spoiled little girl that one – and anytime she saw a camera it was “GRIN!” and “POSE!” So. freakin. cute!
So! Happy birthday, my little Diva! Love you! Even if you love The Girl more. *grin*

geekiness
So, my computer won’t quit blue screening, and I have to continue nursing it along until my computer god can get over here and fix it. We tried a couple of things, and alas, ended up with it just as bad as it was when we started. AT this point, it’s looking like either my ram is currupted, or my motherboard is toast. Not good in either case, but hopefully I can get it fixed shortly.
Until then, as you can see, I’ve commendered the kids computer as well, and am looking even more geeky then before. heh. The kids say it’s babygeekiness -I need more screens and more all out powah to achieve true geekdom. This is their way of encouraging me to upgrade THEIR computer as well. Heh.heh.heh.

The boy’s concert went wonderfully – and I’ll have pictures once I can trust my computer to not destroy them as soon as I upload em. heh. Computer behaved long enough to get One picture at least… click through for the note on where he’s at. heh.
One more concert and we’re done for a couple months before the spring set starts in. This week is the week of Christmas parties and gift exchanges and more merriment then school work – then Gramma Moosie and I are going out of town to do some shopping, and Papa Moosie is staying home with the kids. Heh. poor papa moosie! That’s the first night of Christmas vacation as well, so its bound to be uber busy and exciting. heh. While Gramma and I soak our tired tooties in an outdoor hottub, I’m sure we’ll be thinking of them.
Really.
Honest.
*g*
So – anyway, if there aren’t any posts from me for a couple days – have no fear, i’ll return to you, my loyal reader, (readerS sounds too presumptious! *L*) in good time. As soon as I kidnap my computer god and threaten him with my children until he fixes me computer!
Beware, Computer God… I’m coming for you! (dun dun DUN!!!)
