OK – so, me and the boy, we were bantering back and forth in the car on the way to his camping trip with dad right? And well, I say something, and he said something that sounded like “douche”

And I went “Huh? Did you just call me douche?”

And he says “Yeah- my friends do that all the time, like ‘douche bag’ and stuff.”

and I said “Oh! And do you know what a douche IS?”

and he says “Um…. no.”

So I lean over and do that ‘pretend whisper’ that means everyone can really hear? “Well, a douche is a cleansing tool that women use to clean out the inside…”

he says “Inside of what?”

and I say all nanchalauntly “Their vagina.”

and the boy? DIES. completely mortified. While I’m LAAAAAAAAUGHING. and he’s all “OMG THAT”S TOTALLY GROSS!”

and so I said “So, what am I again?”

and he sputters and mutters and sputters sommore, and finally mumbles… “A female dog mom. A total female dog!”

BWAHAHAHH! i LOVE my kid!

Ok – So. Back in 2001, the Asshole got his wish (he always does) in the form of a full sized school bus that he was going to convert to a motorhome. Ever since, it is spent it’s time in my yard, while they worked bits and pieces and added things and took things away, so on and so forth. Well, today? He finally got it road worthy and registered and now he can take it camping. The very last step, of course, was that it could not be School Bus Yellow. So we did things the (relatively) cheap way. The old paint that a friend had was unusuable, so we broke out the Rattle Cans!

Yes. We graffiti’d the bus.

Mostly it was black to cover up most of the yellow – then I told him I could put his Manspace logo on it. So I got some red to do that. Then there were bare spots! So I tagged it.

The kids have decided that Mom used to be a grafitti artist down south somewhere, and just never confessed to it. Now, I dunno that it’s *that* cool, but the kids were endlessly amused. And now, instead of a big yellow monstrosity in my front yard, I have this:

and full sized pictures can be seen in the gallery.

heh. *L* in other news – guess who was student of the month?

Yup! the girl finally made it! Whoot! Last chance possible for the year and she goes out in style with the Student of the Month Pizza party, complete with Mr. D giving her a ribbon. Yay! She also got chosen as an “excellent eagle!” and gets to spend the night at the school for an all night party next weekend. She’s very excited! *g*

And with that – I’m off to the store so the kids can go camping with daddy tomorrow, and I? will have a WHOLE WEEKEND TO MYSELF! ooooooh YEAH baby!

Take the What High School
Stereotype Are You?
quiz.

Heh.Heh. THis is what happens when you answer half geekily, and half gothily. Go figure. the geek outweighs the goth…

Me first wife’s questions!

Here ya go, darlin! Your questions!

Mei’s Questions:

1. As a very sexy Canadian (rawr!) who speaks French and English and can curse in a variety of languages for flavor, what other, if any, languages do you speak fluently and what have you *not* learned or dabbled in that you most want to try?

2. I know that you are hard of hearing – but what I don’t know is why and for how long? From birth, or gradual unexplained loss? Enquiring minds want to know! (Or else I shall tell you over and over that “I won a vacuum.” *winks*)

3. You have always been rather… private… about a lot of things, but you have mentioned here and there looking into going to school, so therefore, I shall pry! Where, what for, and why?

4. You are an amazing author, you really are! (Write more, dammit!) Who are your favorite authors, and who influences your writing style the most?

5. And last, but certainly not least, back to my prying: I know your husband’s name – and a few mutual gripes that all wives share *LOL* and that’s it. So, how did you meet him, what attracted you to him enough to say that all-important “yes”?

And! to all you momma’s out there – Happy mother’s day! Hope it was wonderful!
