Happy Birthday!
Happy birthday, Ladybug! You’re auntie adores you – even if your mean ass mom had you a day late instead of on my birthday! *grins*
And I haven’t forgotten. The search for the purple kitty cat continues. I will find one – somewhere. It might take me a while, but darnit, you asked, and your cool as shit auntie will deliver! It’s off to the store with me! *MWAH*

No more roots!
Few things feel better then getting rid of one’s roots! Whoo!
I was gonna do purple? but um apparently I’m all out. So royal blue it is again.
raaaaandomosity
Sent the 100 pages, synopsis and stuff out yesterday, it should arrive by Friday, likely. I’m not quite bouncing anymore, but still got those random hopeful type smiles happening here and there. hee.
I have a client who wants to use the CMS system Mambo so I decided to set up a subdomain for my adventures in writing – for lack of anything else really needed for myself at the moment. *chuckles* So! Here we go – the writing of EAM.
And today – along with the normal emails that tell me I need viagra or cailis or other such things came one of the same with this subject line: “She had a boyfriend with a wooden leg, but she broke it off.”
Now what I fail to understand is what this has to do with a lower mortgage payment? *LMAO*
Oh but hey – in other emails I can “meat” the “saxxiest women” in my area! Whoot! Good god. I thought _I_ had spelling problems. *smirk*
And…. thats about it. *chuckles* sitting on pins and needles and planning tomorrow to go and locate a “purple kitty!” for the ladybug for her birthday, by request, of course. All this excitement! how can I handle it? *L*
HOLYSHITHOLYSHITHOLYSHIT!!
Ok. I know. It’s only a babystep and the first of many.
And they could still say no.
BUT.
BUT.
BUT!
I finished the first round edits on AbO the wee hours of sunday morning. So sunday afternoon – before I lost my nerve, I took all the info I’d been gathering on agents and query letters, and decided to get my feet wet. I picked five (my top two, plus three others) and sent out email queries.
The fastest listed response time was 2 weeks. So I forgot about them (kinda. *L*) and then. THEN. when I got up this morning, I found THIS. [edited version. hee.]
Dear [lessa],
I am very intrigued by your query for ANYTHING BUT ORDINARY and would love to read more. Please send the first 100 pages of your manuscript……
…..
….I look forward to reading your work.
Best,
[the agent]
AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHYYYYYYYYYYYIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEE!
BOUNCEBOUNCE!
Yes. She could still very well say no.
BUT.
That’s one request in less then 24 hours.
And it’s from one of my top two choices.
OMFGOMFGOMFGOMFG!
Keep your fingers crossed people! I’ll be mailing out those first 100 pages soon!
HOLYSHITHOLYSHITHOLYSHIT!
(soon as I quit bouncing and can write a professional cover letter/synopsis. *LMAO*)
