LadyBug Glasses
So! My wee little ladybug got her glasses yesterday! So exciting! Nana saw them yesterday, she called and told me ALL ABOUT EM last night – and today I picked her up from the busstop so that I could see them first hand. She is SO FREAKIN CUTE!
I love this picture though – she looks SO DAMN GROWN UP! Man. What a glimpse into the future….
And of course I took her to ‘donalds’ for her ‘chickynuggies!’ too!

Shot this through the windshield as I was driving yesterday morning – something that makes papa go “LESSA!!” only using the full version of my real first name in a very “dammit child” kinda way. hahahahahah!

PS. do you have ANY idea how rare it is for me to be OUT AND ABOUT at sunrise? cept in the summer when I stay UP till sunrise (which isn’t that difficult when it’s at 3am. *L*). Anyway. Yeah. Up – out driving, and taking pictures through a very dirty windshield. Whoo!
I named her Lola, for she is a showgirl…
So – miss me? What, ya didn’t even know I was gone? Harumph! See – I got up yesterday morning, and hit the little button on the computer that makes it turn on? And it went “……….um….no.” There was no beep that said it had done the POST and there was no nothing afterwards. Insert. Panic. HERE.
So – since this CLEARLY was not anything I could nurse along until it got better, I did not get my naptime yesterday – instead, I got my car started and took my computer to see the Computer God. On the way there, I figured out what happened – I had sat in a new computer chair on saturday, and lusted after it. And alas, my baby felt slighted, and also realized that “oh! mom has money!” and thus decided “I must go see B! I LOVE B!” even though seeing B and J, the computer gods, always costs me money. Sigh.
So anyway – Said computer gods checked into it, and found my processor had gone BOOM! (or possibly more of a ‘fiiiizzzzt’ – either way, it no longer worked.) and then! then they found out that no one MAKES that processor anymore. So Computer God B took the processor out of HIS machine and gave it to me. AWwwwwww, no WONDER my baybee loves B! And lo! it all worked! And as the COmputer gods B and J had been bitching that my case was TOO SMALL for all the stuff I had crammed inside, well. I finally broke down and got my baybee a shiney new set of clothing.
And I have named her at last – her name is Lola. For she is a Showgirl.
THE COLORS! omg! So Blue! and the lighted fans! I’m so enthralled with the changing colors of the front panel! And of course i had to turn off all the lights and watch it for a while, and take pictures, and oh! Isn’t she BEAUTIMOUS! And the power supply? Says “iCUTE” – HOW COULD I NOT LOVE THIS MACHINE? and it’s so QUIET!
So yes. Welcome my new/old baybee. Lola. Please say hello – she is something of an attention hog. *Grin*

I had a LOT of extra crap on my server. *L* Back ups of backups of other backups and before flickr there was an old fashioned photo gallery complete with FOUR HUNDRED MB of PICTURES!
Needless to say – they’s all removed and backuped and yeah. *L* There was a LOTTA stuff in there! Whew! Now I’m not sure what I’m gonna do with all this ROOM! whoo!
